hitting 4ghz now.
Passed PI 4 x 8mb and fritz chess benchmark, but i dare not to run prime95, dont know will burn the chip or not.. sweat.gif

btw, the chip manage to do 2 hours prime stable (blend test with priority 9) at 3.6Ghz with default voltage.

gonna set this for daily use cool.gif

@dreaming
basically.. large will stress out ram and NB (abit i think)
small will stress CPU
but blend will stress all.. to ensure the stability, use blend and it is harder then the other 2.
even u pass 1hr large, then u pass 1hr small... does not guaranty u will pass blend..

@acap_20
already stated at the early post - it is 1003 CPMW with alphabet "T" on the pcb.

my proc is BE version, so i guess it is easy to oc by adjusting the cpu multiplier and cpu voltage only.

i'm using asus M4A785TD-V EVO, sometime when the voltage is dropping too much (aka vdrop & vdroop), i'll change the Loadline Calibration setting from Auto to either16% or 12%. It will make the voltage more stable.

so far, i just tried on cpu multiplier, cpu voltage and Loadline Calibration. i didn't touch on NB, FSB, RAM, and HT Link because i'm kinda noob on those setting doh.gif

i see ur proc is BE..ehm who can teach me wht value should i put at CPU Over Voltage, CPU-NB, HT, DRAM Freq, RAM Timing & all setting coz im noob to play with that value..the only thing i know is raise the FSB & i hv question, CPU Over Voltage is Vcore?if it is then why i raise my CPU Over Voltage to 1400v ++ but my Vcore still below than 1.4v

Added on April 4, 2010, 1:02 pmplss give comment on wht should i do with RAM, CPU-NB, HT & other setting, i only raise the FSB

Mine only need 1.3V to prime stable at 3.5GHz lower than stock volt which is 1.35V but need 1.475V to prime stable at 3.8GHz. But no matter what i try this chip just can't prime stable when it reach 3.9GHz and above.

Batch number 1003EPMW

Hey u should keep your HT link and NB frequency not more than 2000.

Added on April 4, 2010, 2:29 pm@dreaming

Try Prime blend test with your 4GHz speed. If it's stable please post some ss. TQ

both u can put any number u want.. but HT link have no effect on performance..so any number that not hinder the mileage shud be ok..

but NB freq the higher the better..ofkos it have its optimum value for CPU speed vs NB freq.. but the main idea is higher is better...with deneb c2, 2.6ghz not a problem with stock vnb..the c3 i donno..2.8ghz?

4ghz with 2.0ghz NB is slower than 4.0ghz with 2.8ghz NB

the idea is like bottlenecking the cpu speed..

this is CPU-NB..the IMC...not the mobo NB..that NB no need leh.. unless u use IGP..kekeke..oc the IGP

o.o the cpu-nb will generate extra heat if overclocked? coz my unlocked phenomII x3 43 celcius idle with stock cooler...

load?
it will if increase vNB..just like i said...2.6ghz is not a prob.
nvm... 1.1vnb > 1.2vnb wont give alot increase in heat..

best is running full load under 60c. but i think around 60c still acceptable. hmm.gif

any cooler you guys recommend? I just did some light gaming and I'm using MSI overclock center to make my cpu fan to run at full speed 5.8krpm..the temp was 52 on stock cooling..I'm looking forward to get a cpu cooler and had my eyes on xigmatek dark knight =D
