Does anyone experience flickering on the browser menu during start up? This happens occasionally on my POHD

No on the latest beta version

How do I page up / down in the browser menu? Or is there way to jump to certain alphabet.

Currently quite tedious to scroll up and down to look for the movie

didnt experience any flicker in 2388 firmware

Mine is 2233 maybe I'll try to flash to the new 2388 version

Yes there are occasional flickering for me too. To overcome, I set it to 1080i instead of 1080p. Just hoping that the later firmware will overcome this problem.

Yes the original HD-DVD container is EVO but the underlying format is VC-1, I have extracted it out and remux to mkv

No bcos I dunno how do to that although my fren telling me the same worry it will screw up my default p1 setting

new user here,. PoHD with Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB Beta firmware version r2891 about 1 week without any problem.
I have a BIG problem today ,..when i turn on the pohd this morning the system want to format the HDD.(like 1st time put the internal HDD).
I cancel & went i check the HDD, no file in my samsung HDD.
btw went i on the PoHD again same msg appear, want to let me format the HDD. I don't hv choice, i click yes to corfirm. about 2 minute on format my Pohd was freezing.
Any ideas?? Hope someone can help me..

yes,.problem solved..re-format done!! but my HDD like new now. Now downgrade back to FW 2388 kena copy balik ma..

POHD will auto reformat for you.....Hope after you recopy back the files, it won't happen again.

Anybody encounter this problem with Playon! HD Firmware Ver. v7.06.r2388?

After pressing standby button, the lights will turned red. But after few seconds later, it will auto turned back on (lights blue).

Then if i were to press standby button again, then only it will permanently goes into standby (lights red).

I think a couple of users have similar problem to yours. Mine too. I remembered one of the new firmware actually suppose to solve this. But I see a lot of instability to the new firmwares, hence still using old firmware until it is all bug free... i hope..

i don hav any problem when upgraded firmware. latest was version r2891

why they dishing out so many unstable firmware?

bcoz they want POHD user know that they work hard in develope in firmware..
