I've made a request for a feature add on here:-
Auto preview Folder.jpg when browsing folder http://www.acryan.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=3567 If you guys think is good, then go post comments so that the developers may take it more seriously Edit: I'm aware there is YAMJ that they are working on, and I have tried YAMJ... the problem is YAMJ sorts based on IMDB movie name which makes it like rojak in terms of sequel/prequel movies. How to install/prepare YAMJ?
Note: Currently Playon!HD firmware has not released YAMJ support yet, but you can start preparing and organizing your YAMJ info on your computer first and later on upload into Playon!HD. ![]() 01) Download: http://rapidshare.com/files/330536798/YAMJ_MediaInfo.zip Zip includes: moviejukebox 1.7 r1258 MediaInfo CLI 0.7.26 YAMJ GUI Config v0.93 02) Extract YAMJ_MediaInfo.zip into C:\ It will extract the files into C:\YAMJ\ 03) Run C:\YAMJ\YAMJ GUI Config (ACR) v0.93.exe ![]() 04) Click on Step 1, and select the directory where you store your videos *I think YAMJ will only work with internal hard drive plugged into Playon!HD *Connect Playon!HD via usb cable to your computer and select the video directory in the Playon!HD internal hard drive 05) Click on Step 2, and save the prompted files into C:\YAMJ\ 06) Optional step:- 06a) Edit C:\YAMJ\categories.xml if you want enable/disable Categories 06b) Edit C:\YAMJ\genres.xml if you want to add/remove/edit Genres 06c) In order for YAMJ to lookup the movies correctly you can:- 06ci) Name your movie files Movie Name (Year), Example: Spider-Man (2002) or 06cii) Create a nfo file and place the movie's imdb page in it, Example:- Spider-Man (2002).mkv Spider-Man (2002).nfo (paste the imdb link http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0145487/ into the file) 06d) If you want to select your own movie poster, you can manually google for the image and store it together with the movie file, Example:- Spider-Man (2002).mkv Spider-Man (2002).jpg 07) Run C:\YAMJ\ACR_YAMJ.cmd and wait for it to complete *You need internet connection *This may take a while depending on how many movies you have 08) Once done, it will create index.htm (outside your movies folder) and Jukebox folder (in your movies folder) 09) View the index.htm and you are ready to go 10) Whenever you have a new movie, re-run C:\YAMJ\ACR_YAMJ.cmd This post has been edited by auhckw: Jan 5 2010, 02:58 PM |

Can download already:-
http://www.acryan.com/forums/viewtopic.php...5692b56ee394d91 Launch of our latest official firmware, based on the latest Realtek SDK3.0. Firmware History New Features / Improvements / Bug Fixes Version v7.0.6 r2901 ------------------------------------ What's new in this release 1) Add new options in Setup/Video menu - Zoom Out - Hue - Saturation - AV Video System (PAL/NTSC) 2) Add new optons in Setup/Network menu - PPPoE Setup - BitTorrent and SAMBA 3) Add new menu language for Asian version - Japanese - Korean - Vietnamese 4) Add new menu language for European version - Bulgarian - Slovensky - Romania - Portuguese - Hebrew (trial) - Hungarian (trial) 5) Add new text encoding - Romania (LATIN10) - Vietnam 6) Add manual setting for system time 7) Add File Copy and Setup menu in Home menu 8) Add elapsed/total time and size display when pressing Info button during playback 9) Add sliding effects for screensaver 10) Add unicgi (Neighbour Web) application (autostart with bootup) 11) Add Play Folder/Browse Folder when accessing a DVD structured folder 12) Add support for recognising data disc 13) Add Mono L/R and Stereo support for Karaoke VCD 14) Fix self-disconnecting over wireless N connection after connected over a period of time 15) Fix Internet Radio Genre listing 16) Fix audio switch when pressing menu button when playing a BD-ISO 17) Fix audio switch when resuming from pause state for BD-ISO 18) Fix MP4 formats appearing as an audio icon instead of as a video icon 19) Fix SPDIF RAW audio mute when entering full screen playback in certain scenario 20) Fix M2T formats unrecognisable for playing 21) Improved Internet Feeds icon in home menu 22) Improved HDMI connectivity with certain TV brands/models 23) Remove Extension Info under Setup/System 24) Remove YouTube under Internet Feeds menu 25) Remove Seamless Playback from System/Misc and moved to System/Video As usual, please kindly read the attached readme file to find some important notes as follow. Note: Copy install.img to the root directory of a USB flash drive and connect it to the USB host port of the player. Enter the Setup menu, System, System Update, System Upgrade and Enter to confirm. Please wait for the flashing to complete until the Playon! HD restarts by itself. Do not power off the unit during the flashing process! The HDMI connection may reset after updating the firmware and may go out of sync with your display. Press the TV SYS button on the remote a few times to sync with a compatible display mode if this happen. Once the display is back, we recommend setting to HDMI Auto in the video setup menu unless a manual mode is preferred. Attention: Please note that version v7.0.6 r2901 is based on the latest SDK version 3. Should you need to roll back to an earlier version, you may be required to reformat the internal HDD through the Playon!HD system. Here you go guys, Asian version: http://www.acryan.com/downloads/Firmware_P...r2901_Asian.zip Contains the following menu languages 1. English 2. Traditional Chinese 3. Simplified Chinese 4. Japanese 5. Korean 6. Vietnamese European version: http://www.acryan.com/downloads/Firmware_P...01_European.zip Contains the following menu languages 1. English 2. German 3. Spanish 4. French 5. Italian 6. Dutch 7. Russian 8. Polish 9. Czech 10. Portuguese 11. Slovak 12. Bulgarian 13. Romania 14. Hungarian (trial) 15. Hebrew (trial) Added on January 7, 2010, 2:08 pm>>>Not in this version I'm afraid. There are still some bugs we are currently ironing out at the moment but I estimate the first YAMJ firmware to be ready next Monday. Added on January 7, 2010, 2:10 pm>>>just got an email reply from Eugene. ACR is planning a public release by this Fri (earliest) or early next week, if nothing goes wrong with their 'beta' release for internal testing today or tomorrow. so stay tuned! we shd get something by next week! let's cross our fingers. Yup, as what I've told Chris a few days back that there have been some unexpected code changes in SDK3.0 which we have merged to our current platform that causes our YAMJ module to fail in some areas. I'll try to release a trial YAMJ firmware by this week but certain features like the subtitles or zoom function may not be available yet until we sort out these bugs with Realtek. |
