if juz purely for viewing, i normally do this. select all and quicklook... click on index sheet then 'pinch out' (how do u call that motion anyway) to go full screen. u can view between pictures by tapping the arrow keys

I finally found a convenient image viewer days ago.

http://wakaba.c3.cx/s/apps/xee.html

try this since it is free.. Exactly viewing picture like how we do in XP..

I actually feel fussy with the Command+A. It will select folders i don't want. It requires a few steps to do the job well than just a simple click like XP.

hello people,
I have a 2.16mhz MBP. I think my left fan is going to die soon. Anyone knows how much for me to replace that fan? I know places like VR Tech and stuff. Still, anyone replace their fan before?

i tried a few alternatives to Preview before and i'd say Xee is my favourite. but i still prefer Preview to Xee. there was something very annoying about Xee to me but i can't recall what ;P

When I first got the MBP, the very first thing I did was to, of course, boot it ... since all Macs came preloaded with OS X ... so I wanna see what OS is inside ... and to my expectation, it was OS X 10.5.7 inside ... no matter, the SL disc is also in the box ... so I popped it in, click restart, and then wipe the entire HDD clean, do 2 partitions (I always separate my work files on a different partition and have system to reside on its own partition) ... wait for the SL to finish installing (roughly 25 mins on a new machine, not bad) ... and voila ... it's ready to go!

On the disc it says " OS X Snow Leopard : CPU Drop In DVD; Not for Resale"

@petrofsky77,
the SL is full version right ? Not the BETA or trial right ?
Formatting a Macbook - only way to do that is by putting in the OS cd ?

Yes dude ... the SL disc is retail version, but not for sale since it's bundled together with a new Mac ... and the best part is, upon inspecting further in the box, I also found a Leopard 10.5.7 install DVD as well. Got two great OS inside 1 box ....

To format a Mac HDD, u need to pop in the OS X disc (regardless what version) and then during the installation option screen, access the Disk Utility on the menu bar and format ur HDD to your liking ... creating partitions also uses the same Disk Utility as well.
