2 Years is enough for most. 3 years warranty suitable for uber 4k above laptop.

yes Evernew has the option for extending 1yr more @ rm138. imo, the official 2yrs warranty is sufficient. the model will be history in 2yrs time. Practically laptop nowadays are meant to be used, and 'thrown'

Just now i OC GPU of HD 4570,i try to benchmark,suddenly my graphic have this white particle everywhere & artifact while benchmarking.

Is it because i over OC it??

Hi Guys and to all experts out there. I got the latest K40AB with 320GB HDD and complimentary ASUS mouse in the notebook box.

It is running on XP now and with most common applications like office, skype, and Bit Defender IS 2009. It is also installed with XP Service Pack 3.

Recently, the cursor keeps on moving backwards by few letters during chatting. Any idea how this crazy mouse movement happens? Is there any cure or patches for it?

Hope you guys can really guide me to overcome this issue... Thank you in advance for any kind assistance rendered.

i manage to get my 3dmark06 score of my f81se from 3270 to 3500.
756mhz core 531mhz memory. cant get more than this already else it will hv artifacts. k40ab/k50ab can get higher memory clock..heish...xD

how do you test whether yours can OC max up to 756mhz core 531mhz memory? I oso wana try OC my U80V. What is the recommended setting for U80V? after I OC , will it increase the load and temperature of ATI 4570?

is it only me on k50ab cant getting oc the memory till 600mhz???

Plus,my benchmark is rather low than usual only get 2000+ instead of 3000+???

I'm happy to play Resident evil 5 with HIGH settings with this laptop.

yes it will increase the load temp slightly. All cards are diff. u hav to test & experiment till u hit the limit of ur card. Run some benchmarks and observe for abnormalities, also play some games to make sure it's stable

your score is a bit low. typical stock settings should do around 3000points.

Like i've mentioned, it depends on the batches of your ATi cards. Some OCs higher, some lower. Good for you if it overclocks higher, too bad if it doesnt oc that high

The 600mhz memory is juz referring to mine as reference, but it should serve a good benchpoint to start with. Batches are made differently, or rather the type of memory used on them are diff. Could be hynix, samsung, qimonda, etc. So, juz test and bench to know the limit of your OC.

please bear with me as its my first time installing...

do i need to download the Mobility HD 4570 driver DNA modded driver? even after i already installed the VGA driver provided by ASUS? (i also installed the CCC found in the VGA driver folder).

and GothFebrio, regarding your post #2084 on warcraft 3 fix. if i dun have the mobility modded will it work?

and lastly do i really need to install the modded driver.. cos i dont know its real function..

sorry if this is answered in earlier post.. i read till 30+ and all was talking about heat problem which i find perfectly OK! my sis Acer is worse...

u need to test urself. when ocing u need stability. for me the temperature does not increase. but if u oc more maybe it will increase just a bit.

Kucingfight, when you say one driver at a time.. is the vga driver by asus considered as one?
