my friend just bought it yesterday 2030 wit the 320gb hdd. add another 100 for 2 gig more ram. installed windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.(last 7600). installed everything from the disk except vga,norton,adobe 8.1. and everything works fine.

what version and driver date ur gpu hv now?

will this lower the gpu core clock?
becuz 4570 has 680Mhz core clock.
or ur card is really is 4650?

owh ok ok. thanks. i installed it already. and working fine. btw mine is F81Se. =P but uses the same gpu. hd4570. lol.

btw the new driver windows 7 windows experience index for gaming graphic increase from 4.5 to 6.0.
well this is correct. because my bro F8Sv has Nvidia 8600M GT 256MB(DDR2) has 5.9 score.

k50IN using g102m gpu. not good for gaming. hd4570 can perform better.

my Asus F81Se when running Crysis the cpu and gpu temp goes up to 69 and 88 degree celsius max.

when idle is 45 and 50.

without aircond. mind comparing wit this model? cuz my friend bought this. but hes not here.

btw we using Windows 7.

actually i dont mind the temperature becuz cant even feel it. only can feel the hard drive heat. on my left hand palm.(Asus F81Se). the K40AB and k50ab got cool palm rest rite.

thats for old laptop....new one doesnt need to remove to preserve the battery. because after the battery fully charged while u using it then it will go direct to ur pc instead of through the battery then to pc....u can check the battery light.

plus use it for some time. do not never use ur battery. because if u never use ur battery for quite long time also will damage the battery....

windows 7 rtm 64 bit works great on it. no problem at all.

smooth means above 24 fps. dell studio 15 have better gpu. cuz its 4570 using gddr3 800Mhz. while most asus including my F81Se using ddr2 500Mhz.

u cannot upgrade to 64 bit from 32 bit os.....u need to do a clean installation.

my friend installed windows 7 ultimate 64 bit succesfully without any problem.

yeah...just slightly better. because of the ram clock...while ours is 500MHz dells running on 800Mhz..not much different u can see from ur eyes actually. but then still u cant run crysis wit maximum setting...i mean u can run...but not for playing...it will be lagging..

i tested on my F81Se. p8700 scores 3271

1st grpahic memory. gddr3@800mhz, while ours ddr2@500mhz
2nd RAM dells DDR2@800Mhz, ours 667MHz

actually ha.. theres no such thing as bottleneck on fsb...itu old rumor...the 1:1 ratio fsb:dram... tu semua tipu one because everything goes into the chipset not through the cpu...btw amd fsb is lower than core 2. core 2 duo is at 266mhz. while amd is 200 somting only.

well. while running crysis. cpu goes up to 69C. and my gpu goes up to 88C. never reach 89 so far.
