Don't buy Acer laptop le... me and a few of my friends had so many problems with it before.

For budget, I would go for Compaq over Acer anytime, anywhere.

now i also play with laptop.. undervolting my frens cq-40.. so far there are 2 laptop to play with...will seek for lowest vcore for them..but the prob is i cant set the vcore permenently.. the stock is at 1.2v..k10stating and set at 1.05..stable but it will not last forever..it will reset back to 1.2 after reboot.

lulz.. desktop only for undervolt.. for laptop i will touch nothing..

Which one is better, well to answer that question now, at this particular date, I would say Intel Core I7...not C2D not C2Q, but I7....

AMD rise in temp is backkkkkkkkkkkk wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy before the socket 754 is introduced i think, which is socket 462....

Nowadays, all CPU hot lar...try I7 for instance, no one I met before with an I7 right which doesnt have an aftermarket cooler attached...
