prime with 1 stick of ram ..and try lower the ram speed to 800mhz

ram is running at 800 5-5-5-15

plus i ran large FTTs test and failed that as well

i doubt is the ram

Disconnect all...and i mean all your PC components...CPU, Mobo, Rams, Fans, HDD etc...

Then Prepare the Mobo, CPU, Ram (1 stick only) CPU n HDD.... Other stuff no need to connect...but CPU heatsink n fan dont forget lorr...

In Bios; use this settings...

Overclock Navigator: Manual Overclock

CPU/HT Reference Clock Mhz : 200
CPU Config : Auto
PCIE/ATIG Ref Clock :100
SB Ref Clock :100

Under the CPU/VID Control

Try that, save restart, then boot into windows.... see what happens...

Run Prime, choose blend with 4 Priority...

Bro, like that unlock and overclock, did you pass Windows Index Experience? I use X2 550 BE 0522CPMW stepping successful unlock to Quad-Core processor with Biostar TA790GXE-128M Mainboard. But when I unlocked, I can't pass Windows Index Experience, the test run until "CPU Performance" then suddenly my system restart. All core speed at default 3.1Ghz with 1.35v, but... Prime95 I can pass over 8 hours.... any idea?

it's meant for dual gpu setup, if ur not on cf, mind not d molex connector.

mushkin is a gud brand, their sticks should be more clockable than kvr but still luck in gettin better chipset is d key to decent oc. d mushkin i saw did great, but it is rated at cl7 so i'm sure d price wont come cheap... well, we use what we can afford & tweak it to d max, at d end of d day, d figures are just something which satisfy our lust, at least for me.

my method is custom, min @ 8, max @ 4096, uncheck d check box (i forgot what it's called) and use 1024MB of ram, if u can pass 3 hours w this, ur system should be stable enuf.

Prime95 all run on default, I didn't set any speacial setting on it, just click start let it run. I think is mainboard BIOS problem, my board can't setting with HT 2.0Ghz speed to boot up, must set to 1.6Ghz...
