No stylus... use ur finger play around the interface was designed using finger touch like iphone.. u can see the key pad interface button is bigger than those using stylus phone.

not for most of the countries & not in the typical accessories, but some country like in india they gave additional stylus....need to buy it yourself if u comfortable using stylus..

advantage of using resistive touchscreen, u can use any object that produce electrical sensitivity (if i'm not mistaken this is the right term )..
capacitive only by heat sensitivity..

tips: touch by using tip of your nails give better response on resistive touchsreen..

how do u insert album cover - eg - 10 songs under one album.

in the music play, u can see the cover of the album with the list of songs displayed at the side

Anyone got luck setting up IMAP Gmail access on their jet? I followed settings provided here but keep getting login failed error message. Annoyingly enough, the POP3 settings given here work fine though. IMAP.... not so much.

also, anyone know if there's a way to get the Gmail java program to appear under widgets/ Menu. I installed it & it shows up under Games....

Does Asian firmwares have really upgraded to DXII2 or just a rumor?

Can we get DXII2 at the service centers? are all the features in DXII2 same as XEII2? or XEII2 is better than DXII2?

i haven't tried, but i think u shud edit the file's ID3 tag to have the same artist name, same album and same cover art. best if u manage ur mp3s with iTunes because you can just edit one whole album to have the same cover. that's what i did for my iPods and MAYBE, i think it's the same with the phone.


from what i know the Gmail java program is not a widget, therefore u cant make it appear under the widgets. unfortunately we can't make Java programs to appear in the widgets menu. not yet, to say the least. and i have problem setting IMAP too!!


they only way to find out abt it to visit the service center.. i only read it somewhere in the DF forums, but no actual link to the firmware is being found. hence i cannot clarify if DXII2 is the same as XEII2 but i highly doubt that it will.. sorry!

Can anyone recommend a good screen protector for use with Jet? Either get from TradeZone here or Sg Wang/ Lowyat plaza

Currently using Invisible Shield, but not happy with what it does to the touchscreens smoothness... It's good for coverinf the other parts though, gives better grip....

Actually I also feel that DXII2 is not as good as XEII2
This phone looks so good, makes me wanna to get one...

of coz there is, one in lowyat plaza. open frm mon - sat(half day only). what firmware u using now? if it's dxig2, probably they wont flash any newer for u as this is the latest supported in this region. while dxii2 seems 2 have more bugs , though it was a newer vers. correct if im wrong.

but i do suggest every Jet users 2 flash XEII2. u still able 2 read ur chinese sms in this firmware, trust me. . read below how.

Yeah, it's dxig2, was thinking of going to dxii2 as it's newer according to the Samsung help guys. Where can I find a summary of plus/minus of dxig2 VS dxii2?

Everytime I use NPS, it keeps telling me I'm using the newest FW already tho.... no option for dxii2 or xeii2.... so dunno how to change
