hello. i plan to get samsumg jet at the end of this year or late Jan 2010. think the price shld have drop to RM1400 or below and new firmware shld be latest.

1. btw, which link can I update the firmware and does it void warranty?

2. not sure how long the t-screen will last as usually (lar) samsung hardware is quite fragile. 6/10 ppl complain samsung phones usually got hardware issues

1. anyone knows what are the numbers to press to go inside technical mode - ie. to test h/w functionalities?

2. how much is a jet now? some says as low as RM1500

3. how's the camera? i bought nokia 5800 - camera was crap! also bought samsung omnia - camera was crap too. sold both phone and got SE C905 - perfect

Helooo. Sat night saw a 2nd hand Jet in SS2 PJ. Still under warranty going for RM1,100. Not sure worth getting it I got phobia abt 2nd hand phones - as maybe it has dropped before lar, firmware kacau inside, got knocked before, press t-schreen too hard lar...

See end of this year can drop to RM1200 since it has dropped from RM1,800:)

I love the loudspeaker - very loud.

samsung jet @ Giant Kelana Jaya selling for RM1430 - but dunno what are the freebies...

wondering why there is no official website to flash firmware.

how do u insert album cover - eg - 10 songs under one album.

in the music play, u can see the cover of the album with the list of songs displayed at the side

go to Sunway Pyramid - Samsung. All the h/p there are for you to try.

i've spent 30 mins playing with Jet and Omnia II

the other location is at sungai wang, samsung booth - not sure it's still there. but the Sun. Pyramid is a sure bet - go there

not sure new phones will have this new f/w.

copy down phone serial no b4 u send for any upgrade or repair

2. for those who still wants to buy Omnia 1, head to KLCC, they are selling for RM1,500 only

hmm, not sure wanna get Jet. Looks like long time use will have issues

i tried the jet again over Sunway Pyramid.

err...actually the phone is quite slow. i was at the photo browser and flicking thru. it is NOT so fluid as the pictures did not slide instantly thru the flick of my finger over the screen

another thing is the main menu, when it's filled with widgets, you CANNOT go to the next screen when swiping your finger across the screen as they are blocked with widgets

hmmmm - shld i get the jet??????????????????????????????
