Hi all, I'm new to this samsung jet. I want to ask why I cannot play the youtube with this phone? Is it something to do with the firmware? My firmware is DXIF8.

May I know which firmware is stable? I prefer firmware that support chinese.

Same thing confuse me here. Well, I did not proceed until your step yet. I got post in darkforest forum about this. Maybe you can add in and see what darkforest comment. Below is my link to the topic.

According to them, plug into the pc after step 4 when your phone is in bootloader screen.

I called Maxis and they do not have this model yet in their system and cannot sms me for auto setting installation. They asked me go to any maxis center and ask for set it manually. If someone know how to set then I no need go to maxis center ask for help d. Thanks.

Added on October 29, 2009, 1:16 pmThanks... I found the way to play the youtube on DXIF8. The setting is click the youtube -> more -> settings -> Browser profiles -> choose the profile that connect to current wifi. However it still cannot play the youtube with HD. Maybe is different flash version.

How to install jar file to jet? I try to download application via m.getjar but it always complaint the memory is full. I view the shared memory it still got 487,984K available. Some application complaining invalid certificate:S I tried to download the jar file in desktop but donno how to install it to the phone. Any idea? How u guys do it?

You mean is useless if I upgrade fw to DXIG2? Then I think I wait for asian one to release for new fw as I need to read chinese...

No stylus... use ur finger play around the interface was designed using finger touch like iphone.. u can see the key pad interface button is bigger than those using stylus phone.
