@yujin86,
tssoo is referring to the corporate plans, not the consumer plans.

@nokia2003,
Let's hope the shape won't change so the cases you spent a lot of $ on can still be used tongue.gif

Hello guys, I had a quick questions here,

Among all the Maxis plan, which plan I must buy with the lowest RM to spend, including fees and monthly commitment/ contact bill, hidden charges for iPhone 3GS 32GB.

Tq smile.gif

p/s exclude charges per use, which mean I didn't use the line for the extra charges per use.

No Such Thing.

Good stuff comes with a price. The more u pay lump sum - less monthly commitment. And vice versa.

Me planing to get a iPhone 3GS. Currently i am on Value Plus 50. This cover voice call and SMS under RM 50.00.

Which plan is better for my future iPhone iValue 1 for iPhone or iData 2 plans. Both Plan offer me 500 MB of data.

If i use iValue it only cover 333 minutes of voice call which i cant utilise all. Do u have to pay extra for SMS cos every month i use about RM 10-20 SMS charge.

If i use iData 2 and together with my current Value Plus 50. would it be better as it would cover my SMS charge as well. Currently my Value Plus 50 also cover data charge, would additional data charge be charged here is i fully utilized my iData 2 500 MB ?

Any forumer in the same shoe as me could advise me

Thanks in advance.

@Digital_Life,
Yes U can probably choose to pay for the data service from your available credit but 500MB p/month is really sufficient [just don't start downloading stuff using ur iPhone]

Bro, I'm on vp50+idata2 n i donno dat previously (b4 adding on idata2) if im using data service it will deduct from my monthly RM50. Dont it count as extra charges? Reminder to u, do note the iphone price difference between ivalue plans n idata plans.

By the way, i did asked here before, the feedback from existing ivalue users but no 1 shared their views.

jz go check maxis site on the plan...value plus has voice/data/sms counted in the commitment
the thing is by default, the rate for the data is pay-as-u-use, which is 1cent/kb
so eventually 1MB will cost u Rm10.24
compare now u assigned to iData2 plan, 500MB for RM50 added on ur bill
ur bill now add only RM50, if is Pay-as-u-use, its RM5120!!!!

Thanks for the reply.
Yup i am aware iValue 1 and iData 2 , the price of iPhone is different but the different is only RM 100 which is not so material.

VP50 + iData 2 = If using this combination the SMS charge and call charge will be absorbed in the VP50 and data usage will be absorbed in iData 2. Am i right here.

In case i used more than 500 MB permonth ... will the additional data charge absorbed in the VP50 as well. Any forumer experiennce b4 ?

Please correct me if i am wrong, for iValue 1, SMS charges need to be pay separately as is not included in the monthly RM 100 charge ?

Yep, but for 32GB 12month contract, its RM300 difference, i wonder does maxis untung byk if customers opt for ivalue1 instead of vp50+idata2

I find it very hard to even reach 200MB monthly, so cannot answer this question tongue.gif

To existing ivalue users, pls share ur feedback

well, if u tether its a different thing, i have streamyx at home to do daily surfing, so just login to facebook once in a while in the office (since its blocked) n to watch pic/video from LY forum when it appeared white screen using my normal desktop in office (proxy). And having said that, watching youtube using iphone isnt so enjoyable to me, the picture isnt clear at all. Or is there some setting changing need to be done?
