no. that's almost impossible as our our local gov implements the telecommunications act which prevents any telco locking the phone to a particular carrier, unless at some point of time in the future this ruling is abolished then it's possible.

there are few dates in a month for the bill cycle, like 10th, 17th, 22nd and 30th

ask wanna... i sign up ivalue 1, it has free local call 333min and call rate is 0.15/min, assuming all the no. i call is maxis to maxis, which means they free RM49.95 each month.

my question is will they deduct the RM49.95 to my total usage? or they will only plus the my usage with my monthly commitment fee?

they will deduct ... means you only need pay rm100 if not exceed the call usage and 500mb data service

okay i have a situation here,

i just bought an iphone 3g from a forumer here, its a maxis set still under warranty,

currently i am on hotlink youth club plan, have been using this number before i bought the iphone, so there is no way i can get the free 500mb for 1 year is it?

if i change to postpaid, and i become a supplementary to a value plus 80 plan, the commitment fee is 30, and can i couple this supplementary line with the idata plan 30? so the total monthly is rm60 or 80 + 30 = 110?

hope someone can clarify this for me

thanks in advance smile.gif

@afiqkhairi,
You onli get the free 500MB on the line the iPhone is registered to upon purchase.

The minimum commitment fee for ValuePlus 80 is $80 not $30.
