Have a question to clarify. I collected my 3GS on 1st August and my data was activated around 3rd or 4th August. I assumed that my free 500 Mbs is renewed every 3rd or 4th August. But when I checked with ppl at Maxis Service Centre, I was told it is renewed every 24th of the month. Is this possible?
I tried to verified this by calling their customer service but was told that they cant answer the question and asked me to go to Service Centre instead. Hm...

that's the info provided by few of the forummers. there might be other banks as well.

there is a minimun amount for easy payment plan ... so is up to the bank policy

i found out that exchange email push is based on cellular network data

erm because when you are on standby, you will realise that the previous connected iPhone to your Wi-Fi, has been disconnected due to "inactivity".

which also explains why, when it is turned back "on", the iPhone requires approximately 2 seconds to reconnect to Wi-Fi.

yes its possible. its actually the billing period. like mine, i collected on 1st September and the data services starts the next day. but my billing period starts on 17th of every month therefore, the data usage is prorated to around 300mb only.

i will reconfirm once i got my bill this coming week.

Your billing cycle does not change. The difference is that ur usage will be pro rated for the first month

fyi, just called up maxis, they hv discontinued the rm99 package and replaced with a rm88 for 3gb, exceeding that will be charged 0.5 sen

how does easy payment work for iphone ?
saw it at Rm80 x 24mths for a 3gs 16gb
so all i have to pay is rm1920 ?
is this the total ?? include d monthly fees or not ??
sifus pls answer me ASAP.. if its only rm80 per month i gonna grab 1 =)
1 more thing.. is easy payment available for prepaid plan ?

i got a question regarding the warranty for used maxis iphone. Been asking many ppls but all of them said the maxis card is enough, no need the owner. Hopefully can get a confirmation here as this thread stated clearly Needed Owner and Warranty card.

I don't believe Maxis will allow you to transfer ownership of the iPhone.

Also, according to the person @ Machines, as long as U have the Maxis Service Card it is good enough to make warranty claims; otherwise U will need the actual owner to do the warranty claims.

im experience at MACHINE not MAXIS but i guess MAXIS will b more "straight"

Hey guys, just testing out the Internet Tethering (since I have lots of data allocation left) and not bad at all. Went very smoothly and fast (Streamyx has been so slow the past many days, so got me annoyed).

Just need to confirm again with you guys that Maxis doesn't charge any extra cost if we're using within the data usage limit, right? I'm using Data Plan 50, so I have 500mb. Thanks.
