Which MEP store you booked at? i didnt know MEPs can deliver faster than Maxis center =S i should have book at a smaller MEP store......

But I guess i was lucky as another fellow LYN - Kyoshiro??? Yea he booked earlier than I did at the same MEP store in OUG.. But I got it earlier than him and he's still waiting.. poooor him.. but yea I guess I was lucky that they called me up.. I personally think maybe smaller MEP outlets might have more stocks cos ppl tend to flock at the main Maxis Centres...

yea... but i paid my deposit later. Coz they din mention bout the deposit while i booked earlier. When i call them up only they ask me to pay my deposit as i'm the next to recieve the iphone.

anyone able to contact someone of higher authority at Maxis or able to contact direct to the Sunway Pyramid Maxis Center person incharge for collection? if so, can PM me the contact? Maxis Customer Service is terrible man... they say they have no information... only with maxis center... when i ask them to connect me to maxis center they say cannot zzz....

i called to maxis yesterday and they tell me i will get my i3gs on end of this month, i was like wtf? firstly said 18th and now delay til end of this month?
But i create a lie to them, which is I told them i going for vecation during holiday. And they called back to my mom but i din get any details from my mom. sad.

Just now I went over to Gardens Maxis Centre I heard that only Maybank Credit Card can apply for installment other banks not accepted. I ask bout other banks that person keep insisting don't have.

Ok just to share with you guys.

I for one of the few people from 1st batch pre-ordered on the 25th and was postponed to 18th august.

Yesterday they call me to go collect the phone in TTDI, great.

So while I was there I ask a few questions, here are some things you guys may want to know:

1) About 100+ units stocked for the 1st batch.

2) They will divide and prioritize on those people who have booked earlier, so like 1 day they distribute 20 units.

3) Once the 1st batch finish distribute already, then they only open for 2nd batch. As far as I know 1st batch would be July - 4th August. Anybody booking after that is conisdered second batch.

4) Lastly, those 2nd batch will have to get it by end of this month.

Got my 16Gb white 3Gs yesterday evening @ TTDI, was scheduled to pick up today. But I told the rep that I can't make it for today's pick up, so....they let me in......

I was the last one in the line to pick up my 3Gs. There were 2 person infront of me, I waited for almost 15 mins till my turn...the registration and activation was rather fast, it only took less than 20 mins to get everything done!

Happy with my 3Gs, it's smoking fast compared to my 2G...there's no lag at all while browsing my pictures and songs (I've got tons in my gallery), loading time for games and browsing the net was significantly faster than 2G.

and oh...something that's really worth mentioning is that the new coating on the screen does help to reduce the finger prints and dirts but it also attract lotsa dust...:S

I suppose you are 2nd batch (you booked after 24th July)?

I think 2nd batch is 24th July until early of Aug. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Something that is worth mentioning here. If you booked b4 24th July, you have every right to collect it b4 or by 18th Aug. Those who booked after that, do not rant here saying u deserve to collect b4 or by 18th especially those who booked in Aug (Give them a break).

Nope I did the booking on the 25th july and I'm under the 1st batch priority list.

Finally after 14 days I got the SMS telling me my 500MB free data is now active.
But does my "month" starts today or Aug 1st (the day I bought it) and how to confirm?

14 Days? Wow that's long.
Unfortunately, I require data on the go because I'm in Putrajaya and have to do work on the move as well.

I'm glad I could collect my iPhone without much hassle, but the registration and activation was pretty long. I notice alot more people ordering the iPhones when I was at the maxis center in Gardens too.

The 500mb delay issues I've been hearing is only applicable for iData subscribers right?

For ivalue subscribers should have their data plan automatically activated am I right?

Cause I just got mine yesterday and I've clocked at 100mb already.

if i want to get only the phone, do i still need to book? i supposed i need to right?

^ if u wan the phone only without signing the contract.. i don think its possible to book now.. try to read up few pages b4 this and u might figure out something

Are u sure that the definition for 1st batch is July till 4th August?

I booked on 30th July and my name is still not on the 18th August list.
