if I want to choose a hedgehog in future, I will pick up one, put on my hand and look for the one which take shorter time to open from the his ball mode. Or the one which easily allow you to pick him or her up.

Thanks. Yeah, peeking is bad. I did peek just now while I was feeding Chubster mealworms though.

She didn't seem stressed out about getting mealworms at all.

Imma be sitting in front of the computer all day so I can resist the temptation to look.

I am using waveboard (already broken) wheel (I have one left ). U can find it at bicycle shop. Last time I replace the wheel for kid's scooter which looks similar. The spare part wheel is sold about RM15-RM20 each. Alternatively, u can use roller skate wheel, caster wheel (can find at hardware), sliding door caster/ wheels.

I fix the wheel to cake container using cable tie. I made holes on the wheel, cake container and PVC pipe using Iron solderer (only RM2 at RM2 shop). I made stand using PVC pipe (3 Feet), 1 T PVC pipe joint, 2 L and joint 3 caps. Dont glue the pipe because it is tight enough.

For cutting the PVC pipe. I suggest when u bought the pipe u  ask them to cut it (2 pieces of 1 feet, 2 pieces of 1/5 feet) this can reduce your work.

Got my first hedgehog home!!! Need advise!!! He is 3 months old by now and wen i got home he poop in the container and now he is in the hide out!!! He had been in a ball for few minutes (10-15 minutes) so dat shud be ok rite?

just get up for eat only...is it normal...

hahah, normal, since he is a 3 months old, mayb he just wanna sum time to get used to the environment, let him b for 1 day 1st....

let he explore his new home for first few days... (2/3 days) 
prepare the water n food bowl.. 
what type of your baby? albino? cinnamon or else? 

I'm jus feeding on some cat food that i got it with the hedgehog and bought a 3kg 1st Choice cat food (Kitten) as his next food supply. All bowls are up ready now!!! Just an albino with red eyes....so its white in colour...

just let it be.. most hedgies active during night... just play with it on night time... 
and make sure provide some the food and water during night time..
my hedgies keep sleeping during daytime.. 
some jogging from midnight till early morning.. 
i only wake it up for bath time only every weekend.. else just let it sleep in their hideout..   

Yea!! Just first nite with me and I've experience how active they could be cause I've been hearing sounds as if I'm going crazy and just now I went to check and the whole place mess up as all the bowl is full with wood shaves, hide out change position(he might noe fung sui) and poop alot!!!

I keep my male hedgie in the kitchen while my female one in the storeroom downstairs, so I never hear anything.

Have you made sure that your cage is escape-proof?
You don't want to find a load of poo & pee everywhere in the morning.

Try using fleece/cloth instead of wood shavings. It's more suitable for hedgies, especially male ones.
When my male hedgie gets horny after he wakes up, bits of wood shavings would stick to his icky bits & when he retracts it, that must really hurt.
