Nah... I'm quite busy nowadays. Midterm and presentation season d.. lolz.

What are you guys doin g now?.. I'm currently a uni student.

That is an interesting video btw. xD

Haha, escape proofing is important. They can hide at place where you least expected. Previously, the height of the cage are too low and Pepper escape.

I thought it got lost since I couldn't find him. I was so sad. The next morning, my mum wake me up because Pepper was in her WARDROBE! rclxub.gif doh.gif
My mum love them but don't dare to catch.

LOL, your poor mum must have gotten quite a scare. xD

I was previously enrolled in a local law degree programme at the start of July. I dropped out because I can never become a qualified lawyer if I decided to continue. I'm enrolling in a business programme in mid-August so I'm just rotting at home at the mo.

I'm distracting myself by reading to avoid the temptation of peeking at the hoglets.

He sounds like a normal hedgehog to me. biggrin.gif
He's just defensive around you because he doesn't know you yet.
My male hedgehog is still very defensive even though I bought him back in May.
However, he uncurls a lot faster than he used to now.

Just pick him up even though he's all curled up. After some time, he will uncurl faster. wink.gif

Mine won't even come out of his igloo when I show him the mealworm spoon.
I need to take the igloo out, he starts huffing & headbutting my hand (which hurts like crazy), then I put the mealworm spoon with the mealworm on it, then he headbutt again before he lunges for the mealworm.

So...yeah, I've got a little drama boy. rclxub.gif

Hmm, blood around the quills? Never seen it on Huffster before & he's gone through 2 quilling process already.

Look closely at the skin surrounding the quill again. Does it normal?
I would suggest that you give him a warm bath (with a few drops of oil), just to ease his discomfort during quilling & at the same time, prevent any sort of infection that can happen.

How to define normal on the skin around? the skin around is ok, white then suddenly gt a red color ring around the new pooped out quill, weird...... rclxub.gif

Like-normal? No scab or injury, you know. biggrin.gif

Try washing that ring off?
I don't think that red ring should be something to worry over.

Keep us updated!

Hoglet Update:
Unknown. xD
I looked for the last time this morning just to make sure all 3 are still there. I think I heard one squeak just now when I went into refill her water bowl & drop off the mealworms so they should be alive.

Two were lying in the doorway this morning but I checked about 5 hours later, they weren't there anymore.
Chubster probably took them in. smile.gif

No rejected/cannibalized babies so far.
I can't wait for 2 weeks to be over.

I don't know how you hedgehog breeders do this. It's so darn stressful.
