To settle this, use warm water, a little dettol (liquid), then mandi her again, after mandi, apply sum oil on the hedgie (johnson baby oil)...then u wait nia, it will b gone after 1 month o so...in my case, still have a little little little bit...

smart? i dont like he poo on me. i prefer he poo on one corner only. My mistake, actually coroplast is the correct spelling not chloroplast. In some stationary shop in JB it is called Infla board
*
Aha, you should put him down when you see his tail come up. wink.gif

QUOTE(BobbyKicksPussy @ Jul 15 2011, 05:35 PM)
i think your hedge force his way through under the playpen, as the playpen is quite lightweight. i dont think he climbs over the playpen.. just my assumption...
*

Just found out why there's poo & pee around the kitchen.
My mum suspects that a baby rat smelled Huffy's RC36 kibble & decided to sneak in through some crack or something. It's not possible for Huffy to push the playpen up because it's pretty heavy after I taped the open joint close.

It wasn't him pooping & peeing all over the kitchen after all. laugh.gif
T'was some darn rat. Hope the rat gets trapped soon.

QUOTE(olivur @ Jul 15 2011, 06:53 PM)
that would be a -ve. i placed her poop in the poop bowl for her to get the idea, but it was kinda redundant since she was on her wheel not long after.. and poop was everywhere ._x!
btw she ate an accumulated amount of a tablespoon (+/-) within the duration of the night. should i be concerned? i'm just feeding her rc36 kibbles atm.
*
LOL, I tried & failed. Hope it works for you!
No worries. They tend to eat & poo a lot more than usual for the first week or two when you get them.

I just finished making a stand for Cika's wheel. I use PVC pipe (3ft), 3 PVC pipe covers, 2 L joint, 1 T joint, metal saw, knife and iron solderer. I dont use any PVC adhesive or glue, all joints are tight enough and it is easy to change anything if it is not glued. The cost of the stand is not more than rm10. smile.gif

Like I told you before, I free-feed my hedgies. smile.gif
Chubster has a tiny double chin already. whistling.gif
She's at Day 20 now. Fifteen or so days to go till she gives birth if she's actually pregnant.
If she isn't, it's time for her to diet next month.
She's 380g already.
Holding Huffy is like holding a cotton ball next to Chubster's weight of a 'bowling ball'.

It is my hobby smile.gif. My next future plan when Cika grows up is to make a bigger and longer box using coroplast. Coroplast is fun and cheap than plastic container. I think i can make a 2ft x 2ft box from coroplast which cost about RM12 ( i have to combined them using tape), if i installed wheel (about RM10). A 2ft container box cost about RM40-50.

Yes he is now more active in my room which is dark. Lucky I have made the wheel's stand, easy to take out and clean. Before this i fixed the wheel to the box.

I didn't measure Huffy's weight. He's probably around 150+?
He's really light compared to Chubster.

shukri, where do you get your coroplast from. a hardware shop or ..? i was thinking of using acrylic but those sheets do not come cheap.

i usually get 11" x 11" x 5pcs to make display cases which would cost around rm50 in materials (chloroform included) a 2' x 2' box.. and i'd have to use thicker sheets too.
