Well my little hibari yesterday escaped as well ! I was like oh time to play with hibari and when i open the cage she was missing!!!

Lucky she did not poop anywhere , she was under my sofa .

And she's having food strike now!! I just bought RC36 for her but she didnt wanna eat it. I fed her with IAMS cat food for 1 month coz there was no RC36 T^T its been 2 days she didnt eat!!

Ahahaha, glad you found her safe & sound.

You could try changing her food gradually. First two days, 80% old, 20% new. Next two days 50/50, and so on.
I tried it but Huffy only picked out his initial food.
I decided to feed him new food 100% after that. He went on strike for two days as well but he gave up the strike on the 3rd day.

^ thats the problem. i ran out of IAMS so yeah >_<

wah so many hedgies escape from their places. Hope mine do not escape. Where do you keep your hibari? In a container box or what?

Take one piece of RC36, dip in the water and put to his mouth.

I did this when Cika on the second day he was at my home. He was given RC36 before i bought him, the seller dont tell me, I bought 8 in 1 he did not like it. Now I have RC36, i mix both.

well the top there i put something on top so the lid wont come out if she push it.

maybe the housecleaner took it out when she cleaned it- -.~

im currently using gypsium board to make my hedgies cage. (diy. 4ftx2ftx1.5ft)

currently i am using container box. if you want to make coroplast cage u can google guinea pig cages. here is an example


if u cannot find the cube, u can use the coroplast to make the wall or fender like the video below where the cage is made from coroplast and duct tape only.

lil would not eat her mealworms ;o

tried snapping it in half as others suggested as well.

most she did to a "full" one was to take a bite, spat the worm away, licked her nose and moved on. lol ._o

Well its been friday till today that hibari did not eat!! She dont even touch a bite of RC36 :C!! I just now gave her oats she took two bite and then ran away. I gave her boiled egg but she didnt eat.. im so worried

Rc36 seems so oily to me lah .. but dam nice smell makes me hungry

yeah, was just rambling really. it'd be easier to show her she did something good if i could treat her with well, treats. but since she'd only eat rc36... ._x

my friend bought mealworms for me , it was REALLY small. like this small ---------

And my friends in school was like , wtff u really keep wierd pets. First hamster , then guinea pig , then hedgehog now what?? Worm!?

I gave my hedgie so much D: . coz im scared its hungrehh !! And she still dont wanna touch her RC36 D:.

Well i changed her caged today .. kinda. I bought some trays in 100yen and put her in it. Now she has more space to run in. FINALLY. My old hamster cage was really small - -she cant even walk around it D; but no choice , no time buy storage box sobbs. But now she can go wheeeeee. .

But i never buy wheel for her i always let her run around whenever im free

yeah.. if you noticed some of the chains are really.. "what?" with nothing interesting. (like the one @ the strand in kota d'sara >.>) while others are really well stocked with many interesting itens.

That kinda thingy lolol. I use the pink thingy on top , put the food on top to prevent hibari from coming out.

And im not from japan LOL.

*please note , i know its small , but i always let my hedgie out , unless i go to school and sleep

OH AND ITS A MIRACLE!!! SHE ATE THE RC36 !!
