I still play champ mode. But the quick match hardly ever shows anyone with a decent ping nearby. crapcom can do much to improve the matching.

lol@blaming capcom. well okay capcom is to be blamed a little but most of the blame should go to streamyx(assuming you're in malaysia) for being shitty.. i know its not comparable but im in japan and i get 5bars matches all the time except maybe during weird hours where people dont usually play games..

yeah, yet i still hear lotsa people thinking that japanese dont play console at all.

sure most of the top players you know probably play at the arcades for hours but they play on console too.

in Malaysia, its the opposite since arcades are dead.....

The other day I went to Tropicana City Mall to get some computer stuffs, so happen the same that we went into to purchase is right beside the arcade. Alright, I thought that I should check it out. Its kinda "dead"....the newest machine there Tekken 6 looks and feels like super new as in like nobody touches it. So yeah its dead here at the arcades....

Reason why there are no rooms with a decent ping is because nobody local is playing. Everyone there is either from America, Europe or Japan. There shouldn't be any differences in connectivity in players match or champ match. I play player matches all the time. all with 4-bar/+. So why not everyone join champ mode all at once? I think its a good chance to fight all sort of people rather than fighting 2-3 people per night in players, besides ranking up.

I can't keep using the same boxer every night I think. Furthermore my Chunli, blanka and guile are really bad, Honda is the only one with potential. But the HP HHS are really difficult, my fingers are aching praticing the piano method , anyone here can do it consistently? Lp to HP HHS I mean.

Friday everyone (including me most likely) is out enjoying. Weekdays people have to work. Every Saturday? From 9pm till 2 or 3am? What do you guys say?

I don't think we need to list anyone interested, anyone that wants to join will join. So guys, make free championships rooms at Saturday? That way G2 players can mix around with G3 players to level up together. I'll make a room and wait, though I wont be that early this week as I just heard this afternoon of a tournament at Mines Shopping mall on Sat and I'm joining, dunno when it will end.

pweic: I can't do the c.LP - HHS HP consistently but I did find a method that helps out using the piano method (unless you didn't know how it was done). I think you saw me do it sometimes This is what I did;

c.LK(LP~MP~HP) - c.LP~HP (HHS will execute)

Explanation= Within the c.LK animation, piano LP to HP, c.LP will link then HHS will execute upon ~HP. As all the links in this game, timing is essential. So don't piano the buttons too fast or too slow. If I'm not mistaken, HHS will execute once you tap a punch button 5 times in 1 sec. It applies to all moves with rapid tapping I think, mikeeeee should know cause he linked the Chun Li's move very well

leongteng: Lolz, good suggestion on the championship mode dude. Get's some people excited for the game. I would suggest that if its possible, we make Saturdays or Sundays every week to play around in Championship Mode. Maybe say 4pm till dunno what time Whichever time you think theres people joining, I even won a championship winning the same guy from 1st match till the final


Well, It was amazing that my local arcades got a SF4 cabinet But sad to see it was a PS3 convert cabinet Still, some of those 3rd Strike players are touching into the game, hope there will be more

This should be easier than the LP directly to HHS method, but given the range of c.LK I think only useful in jump in or wake up game. Can't use in footsies

From the shoryuken forum, it seems recently Mago just rank Honda above all other charging char in his tier list, even balrog. E-Honda is hot now.

I'm not too sure about footsies, but I have seen some Jap matches on Honda using that link. Thats how I found out about it and the guy was playing rather well. Got some good mixups too as you can FADC withing the HHS (if your doing the link flawlessly ). Also you can exchange the HHS to the command throw if they anticipate for HHS. Or a c.MK - Headbutt, just a few things you could mix it up

Well, averagely a HRAP3 would go for RM300-350 range nowadays. To mod it is cheap cause the stick is actually from Sanwa, only the buttons need to change. I remember hanz079 sold a few sets of the buttons before, around RM150 max for 8 buttons and 1 balltop

So we count on a max budget;

HRAP3 RM350 + Sanwa Buttons RM150 = RM500 a maximum

What method you using to piano lp to HHS? I use lp~hp~mp~lp~hp. Works wonders for me. I hope you have soft Sanwa buttons, else it's really a killer to your fingers!

Dude, piano it that way also can? Cause i think the link frames very tight if just on c.LP
