So it IS you. We used to meet in Subang Square in the video game shop to use the PS2 there to play Tekken 5. That was like in 2006 I think? It was you, me, an Asuka player, a Christie player and sometimes a pro Bruce player will frequent the place. I main the same guy you main, King, and also Marduk & Jack 5. Nolar actually I'm also trying to find a second character, been doing so for a while now. I'm hovering behind Blanka, Balrog and Bison. You saw how I play as them.. not very good also. Every fighting game I play I tend to be good at grappler characters, and there are none like Zangief. What to do... if T.Hawk were to be somehow in SF4 I would choose him as second main.

Eh you were top form la today. You say piledriver giving you nightmares but I'm not piledriving you as often anymore, had to resort to pokes. I think you're getting a bit too used to my Gief now.

brastel: I think it's because Abel has a much better chance getting in through the fireball zoning tactic than Rufus? He has the EX wheel kick and that rolling move to easily close the distance. But yeah that alone can't be enough to warrant counter picking.

I've been sparring with mostly new people these days but there are some people I miss fighting..all either something wrong with their ps3, problem with connecting online or some jump to PC or playing other game. But some of the people I just added are quite good. Add them if you like:


go_go_missile2- fellow Zangief kaki from Indon. Fun to play with, also plays a decent Guile.

Also, I never have any matches in champ mode anymore. Is anyone here playing? Why don't we set a day of the week where everyone goes to champ mode at the same time? That way we can go up the ranks and pick people to add at the same time rather than picking a name from the PSN id list just to learn he's not playing SF anymore.

Reason why there are no rooms with a decent ping is because nobody local is playing. Everyone there is either from America, Europe or Japan. There shouldn't be any differences in connectivity in players match or champ match. I play player matches all the time. all with 4-bar/+. So why not everyone join champ mode all at once? I think its a good chance to fight all sort of people rather than fighting 2-3 people per night in players, besides ranking up.

Friday everyone (including me most likely) is out enjoying. Weekdays people have to work. Every Saturday? From 9pm till 2 or 3am? What do you guys say?

I don't think we need to list anyone interested, anyone that wants to join will join. So guys, make free championships rooms at Saturday? That way G2 players can mix around with G3 players to level up together. I'll make a room and wait, though I wont be that early this week as I just heard this afternoon of a tournament at Mines Shopping mall on Sat and I'm joining, dunno when it will end.

Nice to have you and mDinie. I like to see Cammy getting represented. Though this tournament may not be the best example of the KL scene due to the faults that you and Alvin highlighted spot-on. Like Alvin said, try coming to Alan's tournies next time he organizes one, that's a good representation. Though I think its good that Sony Centre at Mines actually organized this, despite its many shortcomings, which I hope they learn from.

About the tourney: I had a blast. But I cant help but think if the tourney actually allowed sticks, I wouldn't have this much of a chance of winning. Bravo to the usual stick players (Desmond, Alvin, BigMac, Alan and the rest) to show up on pad matches, something I didn't do when the situation reversed on megamall. I'm glad I won anyway, I don't win much competitions so this is pretty much made my day. Desmond we'll have our real rematch on the next good tourney!

(Dudes, is it normal for PSP these days to come not bundled with any USB wire or memory card even? Wah Sony so damn stingy these days!)
