Hey guys. Anyone of you joining the Asus notebook sleeve design contest? The one where you get to win a UL series notebook. It provided very little information on the contest and so i mailed the related staff but got no reply >_> And it doesnt seem like there're threads goin on about it too.

It is available. I bought A52jr for 3099 at evernew today. have to buy a 2gb stick to upgrade it to 4gb ram.

Is it just arrive today? Is Evernew the only shop has it?

I asked a few shops, and only evernew still has ready stock.. other sold out

i bought a52jr from evernew also. rm2999 plus 2gb ram 170 plus extend waranty 180.

Is the extended warranty comes from evernew or the manufacturer Asus?

come from evernew. 1st 2years is from asus, after 2years is from evernew.

So the RM180 is for 3rd year warranty from evernew, correct?

I did the stupidest thing today and inserted my PSP's memory card into the WRONG SLOT on my M50V laptop!!! I'm freaking out, because I tried to remove it with some needles and tweezers but accidentally pushed it in FURTHER!!

I know the nearest Service Centre to Shah Alam is in Subang Jaya, but may I asked what are their operating hours? Your help would be muchly appreciated T__T

Have u tried unscrew n remove the rear cover to retrieve the memory stick?

Crap, looks like i bought the a42jr with i-3 a week too earlier from Evernew, and bought it like rm200 ovepriced .

And when i asked them when will the a42jr with i-5 arrive, they say lied to me and say dont know. liarssss

It's on the side of the laptop, not on the rear. And I think the whole bottom part of the laptop needed to be removed to retrieve the memory stick

hey guys...wanna ask if i wan to upgrade my hard disk to a larger one... will it void my warranty???

I got a problem with my Asus UL20A. Everytime I try to connect to external speakers, there is a lot of loud humming sound. I tried with several external speakers and this loud humming sound humming sound.

Is there something wrong with my machine?

Are u playing a Humming sound type of mp3 track? or izzit possible u plug into the MIC next to the Speaker hole? If both answer is NO, then u shd contact asus service center immediately for a service appointment. u r welcome.
