QUOTE(xiaobaiwm @ Jan 25 2021, 08:52 PM) Same, I chat with them online and they told me that it will restructure soon. Damn it, soon dunno when. still the same amount shown which is the accumulated amount throughout the deferment months right? They ask me to pay the installment as per agreement and ignore the 1k+ due to moratorium. I am confused. welcome to malaysia |

Hi guys, I just started to pay ptptn. I have a few questions here. Just curious about the ujrah thingy.
1. For example if my debt is 30k. The repayment time is 15 years. If I managed to finish paying the loan in 10 years, does that mean I will pay less for the interest, or the interest is fix even I finished paying earlier. 2. Let's say if I accidentally skipped one month payment, will I be charged for extra interest or principal cost? Even I repayed two months in the following month? 3. How do I know when is the date that is the deadline for me to pay every month? Will ptptn send me an email? I worry I miss the deadline and get charged for extra cost. Thanks for answering. |

For the 3rd questions I think you can subscribe for direct debit. For the 1st and 2nd questions, I'm not sure but I would like to know too. Looking for others reply.1. For example if my debt is 30k. Yes, and if you can afford to settle a lump sum, please write in to request for final amount before you transfer your money. I got 20% discount for final (a lump sum) payment. 1. Monthly interest will be added to your account. If you cannot pay full amount, try partial payment. 3. Login to your account to download your ptptn statement. It contains all information you need. |

I got 20% discount for final (a lump sum) payment. For question 1, the interest is added into the loan balance every month right? for example my minimum payment per month is RM258.70, if i decide to pay double at RM500 do i need to inform ptptn to shorten the repayment period? 2. Try to do your own calculation based on your PTPTN statement. Whichever work for you.or just pay RM500 per month to settle the loan earlier? will i save interest by paying more per month? 2. You do no have to inform PTPTN if you are paying double. 3. Monthly interest is added based on the outstanding amount. Bonus: There will be campaigns from time to time. I suggest to wait for the discount for final lump sum payment. Like our police summon discount. |

Hi All, I just made request for PTPTN payment using KWSP account 2, my KWSP i-account already showed the money is transferred, however when I checked my balance on PTPTN website still not updated, may I ask how long usually PTPTN will update the balance statement? Thanks all.

What is the most amount of ptptn discount given over the years?
If got balance rm20k, can pay half in lump sum to get discount? I.e. pay rm10k first for x% discount. |

wanna ask something related to CCRIS record
so I've checked on PTPTN FAQ saying that the monthly payment has to be made latest by the 27th. https://www.ptptn.gov.my/faq-bayaran-balik-...aman-pendidikan so meaning to say, as long as i pay before 27th, my CCRIS record will not show any outstanding (e.g., 0 will be shown instead of 1)? |

Looking at my loan statement in PTPTN website and system really gives me a headache.
3 things that is really problematic. 1. It list 2 loans in the statement where I only have one. 2. Received email from PTPTN saying direct debit got problem. Need to pay manually 3. Since need to pay manually, I went to the website and att the end of my loan statement, it states the amount which I am not sure where they pluck the number (seems random and less than monthly payment amount). After pay, thought will become 0, then became ujrah amount. After 2nd time pay, still showing ujrah amount. After 3rd time pay, now become total loan amount |

Unless you took PTPTN for Diploma & Degree, it list 2 loans because of the PENSTRUKTURAN AUTO. The 1st loan is considered ended so you just have to pay the 2nd loan.3 things that is really problematic. 1. It list 2 loans in the statement where I only have one. 2. If the numbers you need to pay is less than total amount, that means you have outstanding payment. When it shows the total loan amount, means you already cleared the outstanding amount.
