Just wondering, do you guys repay the loan during MCO/PKP? (for those who paying manually)
Since they are halting the repayment until 30th September and will restructuring the payment schedule after its over.

I've talked to their staff online about it before, they said it is better to just continue paying if you are capable to.You know that their policies always flip flopping. Personally I feel like saving up during the MCO period hehe, though that's why I'm curious if any of you guys actually stop paying for this period or not |

QUOTE(qzsalphidopm @ Apr 15 2020, 05:29 PM) hi guys, sorry newbie here, need to ask how to pay PTPTN using Boost app? im not sure what to put in the PTPTN account number, is it "No Pinjaman" in PTPTN portal ? or we just put in our own IC number? Read a few post up. The answer is in the same page. #3363Thank you in advance. QUOTE(miwol @ Apr 19 2020, 12:33 PM) Just wondering, do you guys repay the loan during MCO/PKP? (for those who paying manually) Yeah, I continue repaying mine cuz I saw the interest still get charged, so I assume that there will be restructuring of the payment after September. Don't think it'll change that much, but I don't really like changes, so I continue paying haha.Since they are halting the repayment until 30th September and will restructuring the payment schedule after its over. |

QUOTE(tadashi987 @ May 4 2020, 11:35 PM) i saw the deferment amount is adding up As what I understand, the restructuring will happen in October and you will know the new monthly amount, which will be higher than your current repayment amount. The deferment amount adds up cuz it works the same way as other loans, and interest will continue to be charged. There is not interest break, just that you will not be penalised i.e not recorded on your CCRIS, but you are still obliged to pay for the owed amount; either by paying now, or when they restructure your payment in October. In terms of charging interest/interest calculation on the 6 months deferment amount, that, I am not too sure how to calculate. Correct me if I'm wrong.when comes to October, PTPTN will restructure this and show the new monthly payable amount again? would it be the same amount as previous monthly repayment installment? (my previously monthly repayment is RM330) ![]() sorry dont quite understand how this defermend works But your picture is quite interesting. The amount there is 2*RM330. Mine just shows the interest charged for May, and not the monthly repayment amount. I paid for April. Maybe its good to give PTPTN a call to clarify? ![]() This post has been edited by sarah0601: May 6 2020, 11:28 AM |

QUOTE(ChaNzy @ May 7 2020, 11:35 PM) I am still paying an amount higher than the intended amount. No news on restructuring, but I wouldn't be surprised if the restructing would be the same as normal ptptn restructuring, as in method of counting interest on the 6 months of no payment and monthly installment. I found the FAQ on ptptn website about restructuring (in general).Any further news on the restructuring? I am not able to find any information via my search online. |
