@lcwei85,
Some forummers have commented on this issue; we still aren't able to ascertain if indeed the battery drains out faster, or if it's because the battery indicator is now more 'accurate' - in the past, the indicator shows it's full but when it starts to drop, it drops rather fast. AFAIK I used to switch off my 3G services but now that I've got my Unlimited Plan in place, I've started using it and can definitely see an issue with battery life PS: I am using the iPhone 3G This post has been edited by tinkerbel: Jun 22 2009, 01:39 PM |

@nokia2003,
It onli shows I don't get into things blindly! I like to know what I'm getting into mah.. but I guess if this discussion continues, by the time I'm decided, BeeJiveIM might have gone back to 15.99 and muAHahhahAHha that time we'll be discussing the regrets of not getting it when it was 9.99 !! hAHahAH LOL Ah well.. thanks and he's not the first person to have made the same mistake; I get called "bro" all the time! *siGh* |

Beejive is much more stable compared with IM+..too bad i bought it while it was USD15.99!
But i think push still not officially supported on BeeJive. I'm expecting them to release an update which supports push! I posted review and requesting for that haha! |

QUOTE(nokia2003 @ Jun 22 2009, 12:43 PM) *cough cough* i wonder who called you that I was wondering, if we buy it now when the new version is released we get to update for free too right?i'm watching beejive's twitter like a hawk now! just waiting for them to release the push capability version i.e. BeeJiveIM 3.0 apple has yet to approve their app for public use QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 22 2009, 01:05 PM) @davidmak, 2.99? Hehehe... if they go all the way to 5.99, I'll take it too! I think the only time they reduce price is just before a new version is released or when a new version is released (with untested/unreviewed features). When things die down, they would go back to normal price.Yup.. 0.99 for IM+ is really a no brainer. If BeeJiveIM dropped to 0.99 I would just get it without asking much; even if it was 2.99 (considering I knew it was 15.99!) hehEHhee..... Let me know what the final outcome is. I guess on my end I don't do games so that's quite a bit of savings for me @nokia2003, Yeah, I wonder who! And, until Apple gets their Push Notifications in order, I don't think they'll be approving the new updates *siGh* |

@davidmak,
BeeJiveIM has NEVER dropped below 9.99; not from ever since I been monitoring. At it's lowest it was 9.99 (and that's what it's offering now, in anticipation of 3.0] I doubt it'll ever drop below 9.99 but if it does, it'll be a good time to get it. In fact, at 9.99 it may just be a good time to get it *shrugs* I'm still 15 16 ! hAHahHAhaHAHa Yes.. any updates after you've made the purchase if FOC to U @blugear, Yes that's right. We're talking about IM services on iPhone |

Erm,
3.0 has no change in the SMS tones right? As in, if I want to change SMS tone I still need to jailbreak? I miss my Yoda voice "MESSAGE FROM THE DARK SIDE, THERE IS" sms alert |

QUOTE(Dozz @ Jun 22 2009, 01:34 PM) hey guys, try to reboot your phone and see how it goes. you still use the same sim card right, then maybe got some bug etc, try and error the phone and see how it goes.after upgraded to 3.0, i could send and received MMS. But dont know why today the "camera" icon next to the SMS suddenly disappeared. Anyone know what happen? hope it helps. @deodorant i think the only way for you to change the sms tones is by replacing the original tones in the system,yes the sms/message app still dont have the option to change our sms tones. |

Can anybody who is out of contract with Maxis iPhone 3G confirm the below - whether its true or marketing ploy? Also that site selling the 32 GB 3GS for RM3999! must be from europe
http://www.iworld.com.my/blog/?p=742 "The Maxis sales personnel mentioned that they could, at their discretion should they choose to. However, they can ONLY use the iPhone 3G for calls & SMSes ONLY. Data connectivity (3G access, internet surfing, GPRS, EDGE, etc) would not be functional anymore. To their knowledge, it is disabled/crippled if you’re not using the Maxis iPhone 3G with the supplied simcard & of course the 1 to 2 year contractual plan that you have signed up for." I was thinking of getting the 3GS for 6 months then evaluate whether i want to switch carriers |
