Bought it because 60k region & have no spare car that time, this Gen2 is the best we can get. Mana tau, this Korean at this pricing. What to do... guessed I have to live with it. Mudah.my is filled with Gen2 for sale, not easy to let go without topping up.

if ure too desperate to get a car at the time n since u know u dont have a choice why dont u be smarter back then...get a 2nd hand proton car for 4-5k as u did mention the urgency...login to lowyat forum n make complaints on the car, the service center etc and for all u know 5-6 months later a forte is out n u can happily sell ur super idiot proton car for 3-4k at least u didnt lose much and happily owns a forte...yeayyy happy ending...

owh i forgot...back then u were forced to buy a gen2 not forced to buy a 2nd hand car...i pity u...

coz4u - the mod hazril mentioned is 70% like the mod i offer...if u do read u should know what are the mods...

For auto Gen2, pick-up wise don't need me to elaborate.

There is a long story back then when I placed booking on the Gen2 & etc. Anyway it is the past. If everything planned so smooth & thought ahead that time, I won't be whining here, complain here as a Gen2 owner & looking every ways to sell it now.

hazril oni have cap ayam 4-2-1, a bullet and everco muffler...no fpr no lcp...oh his right feet must be very light also...

auto gen2 got no pikap ke? i just know la...hahaha because if i'm not mistaken i've driven ahlong gen2 when he complaint got no pick up and of course that time his torque is not as good as today but still got good respond...of course now his torque is wayyyy better than stock...

the only problem i could recall on any auto tranny is the downshift which is not too obvious on later version of gen2 (campro/iafm/cps) compared to the older model...

and 2 days ago i've got a taxi ride in a waja cps which i assume the body weight is heavier compared to a gen2, auto tranny oso and eventho the torque is not as good as an evo, it is still acceptable and the owner drives like mad makes me throwing foul words on him hahahaha...

still whining? of course here there will be lots of people feeling offended with ur words because it is a gen2 section where most of us loves our ride and we appreciate what we have despite of all the bad reputation on the service we received from proton etc but hey come on get a life...dont tell me u never heard of a bad service happened in any honda or toyota sc...even the almighty*cough*pero2*cough* also suffers from bad workmanship etc...

its all in ur head...once u set a negative mind on one thing u will stop looking at the good side of it and would keep on looking and digging for the negative thing...its a real life scenario...u hate prof. XYZ in university because he scolded u in front of the class and think u have been the victiom, an object of mockery by prof XYZ...eventhough prof XYZ has been recognized as the best lecturer in the uni with biggest number of successful students under his supervision, just because some small incident u would always have a bad impression on prof XYZ...even at some point prof XYZ started to notice ur ability and started praising u, u would still feel he is just not worth it...

same scenario what like what u have here...oh sh|t if i knew a month earlier that i'll be the object of mockery i wouldnt opt for him to be my lecturer...should have wait for another month before Ms Britney came in...darn it...XD

herm.... i guess the hotbit extractor might be the problem for high FC ler...

hotbits header the one u using i think the firing sequence is 1-3 2-4...just a wild guess...

yup... up until now they also selling the 1-3-2-4 lol...
only neo are 1-4-2-3

adjust throttle respond improves the car respond...

it comes bundled with the fpr...the fpr package is to minimize the campro lagg...

thats why i said before do the fpr, do exhaust first...

too bad sg don allow exhaust mods. anyway improving air intake does improve low-end torque. for the throttle response.. might have to visit dr shazmn when i going up north.. but dunno when that will be =]

fc now for me is 7.4l/100km, about 400km on a full tank. not too bad la.. when i started out, i was shocked to get 290km on a full tank
