fpr - fuel pressure regulator(adjustable)
- regulate the pressure of fuel supplied to ur engine for combustion
- stock pressure 3.5bar...at this pressure fuel spray is not concentrated at one area it is sprayed with wider angle...
- 3.5bar is a standard pressure for all engine(campro) based on its characteristic by basic...BUT somehow for better fuel efficiency and better performance a higher pressure is needed.
- lets say ur car actually needs 3.8bar pressure...at 3.8 bar the spray is narrower n the fuel entered is limited thus saves ur car fc...with the correct amount of fuel entered and at a concentrated area, no issues like fuel overflow n caused ur spark plug to be wet(plug basah)...
- generally when a plug is wet, we know the fuel is too much and for carb engine, this can be tuned easily right? but for ignition based engine how u tune it? other than using a management or piggyback etc we do it other way round by fpr...
errrr simple explanation by noobs hahahahahha hope can understand lor...
and just a hint, with the correct installation of fpr on campro with our foc adjust throttle paddle, campro lagg can be reduced to almost none...it is still there but wont be too obvious...
