congrats for your bravery to raise up those kittens. They are 3 months now but cannot eat solid food? Thats weird, I'm currently raising 1 month+ kitten but they can eat solid food without any problem (RC babycat 34).

I dont know much about wet/canned food. Hills is good but price is a bit high. Apart from canned food, I normally soak RC kibbles with water and let them eat it.

Better not to feed them with wet canned food too much or else they will hunger for canned food only, and a good canned food is not cheap you know smile.gif

They eat the dry food if mixed. I leave some dry food out for them, sometimes they do eat it. I also soak the kibbles in water, they will only eat it if it's mixed with canned food. I don't think they like the taste! unsure.gif

Anyway, yeah I know good food is not cheap. I went to look for addiction but they don't have any nearby my place. The only one I found was Natural Balance. I bought a few. I started on Fancy feast because the vet told me it's OK to feed them that, and Whiskas Junior, which I think is not. Avo Derm was suggested to me by a friend who's raised a couple of kittens. I think it's good. Apart from the ones I've mentioned is there anything other than that?

So sorry can't help you on this yet. I went back only for 5 days and it was so hectic cos I had to come back to Tunis and now I'm in Cairo. Hope your cat stayed indoor alot. It's abit too foggy here. If it's persian with extreme feature they might have problem with the air here..hehe

I found that if i feed my cats with dry food exclusively, they'll be some problems with their digestive system. i need to feed them some fresh stuffs at least twice a weak. usually, it's a fish.

The cats in my parent's house (kampung house la) is already the third generation from the one we rescued and adopted many years ago. The problem is, My Father hate cats and he already throw out three without my knowledge. Of course, i don't deny that uncontrolled populations boom may affect my parent's household economy later on, so i gave some to peoples who want to adopt them. but it's very sad you know, giving them away. i can still imagine them as a newborn kittens.

Of course. But bear in mind, normal sand won't clump your cat's doo and wee wee so in longer period, it'll stink more smile.gif.

Working for a project here for 1-2 months in 6th Oct City but staying in Conrad. Abit far but not to bad I guess but the traffic is a mess. One of those pets friendly hotel but weird thing I didn't see anyone bringing their pets in here. Or maybe it's just not the norm here. My personal view not only pets can have difficulty of breathing but human as well if you don't accustom to it fast.
Yes, they are the god back then I think. I like all those paintings on the papyrus depicting cats

Can and it can be quite cheap if you can get it foc. The only thing is that you need to always change to a new one. Maybe clean it twice a day will do.

Wow!! Nice project a. Yeah the traffic here is one hell of a mess. No, they don't usually bring their pet out here. Only kept in the house. I think because of the pollutions outside maybe. You can see the cats here is larger than cats in Malaysia. If you go to Aswan or Luxor in the southern part, you can see the cats is like a cub. hahaha. Some say Egypt is the birth place of the cat, so there is a lot of pure breed cats there.

Go see Vet asap since it's a serious case. Presumably kidney problem but let the vet verify 1st.

Kidney Stone? I'm not sure, it's wiser to visit the doctor as this is a serious case.

She is a vet and she breeds scottish fold too.

Is your kitten's body warm?
If yes, take a cloth and wet it, squeeze the excess water out and then rub on your kittens body to bring down the temperature as it is having fever.
Then quickly dry it.

Second thing you can do is put it under a fan or air conditioned room to cool the body.

Thirdly, give it lots of water to drink to also bring down the body temperature.

If the kitten is not having fever, then no need to do that. Just wait until morning and quickly bring it to the vet. If your kitten is not in a serious condition you may wait until morning to bring it to the vet. If serious you can try the vet located at Taman Segar. However you will need to call the vet first and make an appointment. Be prepared to pay a huge amount of $$$$$$ as its night time.

Hope you kitten get well soon!

kitten doesnt want to eat might be a sign that the kitten is sick or stomach already full. You should bring your kitten to vet tomorrow if he still doesnt eat or worst drink anything from yesterday.

Try to force drink by using syringe first just to prevent from severe dehydration.
