Hello all, i'm a newbie here. Just want to find out if anyone sent their cats for boarding at Pet Epicure, Taman Melawati?
I sent mine over the CNY holidays. Before that, i phoned to ask the rate. Since the lady said it's RM85 per day at their biggest suite, for 2 cats, i think it's reasonable. That's why i dropped by to visit and also paid deposit. There and then, again the lady confirmed the rate.
Upon collecting my cats, i was billed RM115 and they accused me of hearing wrongly. After that I called them up twice and i had to hear nonsense twice!! I feel CHEATED cry.gif

I think it's reasonable for 2 cats and place them in big unit. Not the usual tiny cat cage in petshop that charge RM15/day. Both my cats are adult maine coon.

My new baby.
Took her from the mosque. Found her without without a mommy. I believe she's a month old.

Thank god she already knew how to eat kibbles. Else I wouldn't know how to feed her.

Hello everyone,

One of female cat (which is about 10 year old) has a very large lump in one of her nipples.Unfortunately,I only discovered this lump about a week ago and now it has grown to be the size of a golf-ball. sad.gif

The lump is soft and and all fur has gone from that whole area.

Can anyone kindly tell me what it could be? I would be very glad to talk to any cat owner here who can advise/shed some info on this.My msn is david73msn@hotmail.com.Please kindly add me.

Thanks.

hello all,

found a mother cat nursing 4 newborn kittens in a corner of my car porch. kitten eyes not opened yet.

Would like to know whether mother and kittens will go away on their own when they get older or do I have to send them away somewhere?

If they are running around the porch, scared will accidentally run over them with my car.

Contemplating keeping one but I work long hours and don't know much about keeping a cat...had a dog before though

get them a big box.. like TV box.. the bigger the better.. new born kitten hardly move.. but when they start learning to walk.. they do become blind walker ehehe...

as for mother, if she feel the area is not safe for her kittens.. she WILL move the kittens to other places.

box will avoid the kitten from going or moving somewhere else when mama is not around.

Made a house-call because I don't want to add more stress to my cat by taking her to the vet.

According to the vet,the large lump in her belly could be either hernia or tumor.

I believe it is mammary gland cancer. sad.gif

oh... sorry to hear that. What does the vet advice you to do? Is it curable? If the vet said it "could be"... its just a possibility. If both of the possibilities can be cured, I suggest you take her to the vet to confirm, and let the pro advice.

Poor her.. but I know she is a strong cat.

desperately need HELP~~ icon_question.gif

someone throw a kitten near my house, didnt realize it, one of them is ded, another still alive.
try to save the alive one (1), but it doesnt want to eat or anything, it keeps shouting (cat language)
and i believe that this kitten is still relies on her/his mommy, untill now from 3pm he is being
calling for mommy for non stop. its quite weird, since the kitten is not as small as normally
a kitten does, it looks big (not like adult but bigger than average kitten that relies on mommy) cry.gif

what should i do to save him/her? please help me ASAP.
i do not want this kitten to die and as if i let it be. i need some advice or help as
to save this kitten. around 3pm to 3.47am is a long time for a kitten to call for mommy. notworthy.gif

Hi.For now,the doctor wants me to observe my cat for 2 weeks if there's any change to its health, activity, etc.
If there is no change then he said we better just leave the lump alone. He says surgery is very risky because of my cat's old age.

Thanks.

They calling for mommy to feed, they are super hungry. You need to HAND feed them with kitten milk powder EVERY 2 hours, day and night, for at least 3 weeks, till they can eat by them self.

This post is already in the Lost/found thread but because his owner is very very upset and misses his cat so much, hopefully by posting here cat lovers can help to be on the lookout for Pixel, a neutered orange male tabby with white socks and he may or may not be wearing a collar as he has been lost for a few days. He has been strictly a house cat so he may very well be lost and looking for his way home.

Anyone that sees a cat that fits this description please call 012-2190838. His area is around Jalan Pakat, Ukay Heights, Ampang - missing since Monday March 8th. A reward will be given upon his safe return.

hi there i m homebreeder of cats.. its not advisable to simply buy milk for them cos they might die of diarrhia...best is to soak the kibbles n handfeed them n also try to syringe feed the kitten with water..do it three times a day until the kitten knows how to eat the soak kibbles.. as for cat litter u can also call me cos i suppply to petshops...pm me if anyone is interested in good clumping cat litter... tq
