Dear All,

I have a male kitten here in need of a caring home. This kitten was originally a stray who lost his mom, and i have taken to care it for a week before he was kicked by somebody (i suspect neighbor) and hurt his behind legs.

I have sent the kitty to SPCA where Nicole the PR exec of SPCA have been caring for him until today. The kitty has totally recovered and back to its active self (no permanent injury, thank god!) and when i went to have a look at it 2-3 weeks back, this young tiger is already running and jumping around like before!

If anyone is willing to adopt this kitty, do PM me or you may drop by straight away at SPCA Selangor office in Ampang and look for Nicole. Trust me, you wont get bored with this kitty, and always love to play and treated my hand as if a sibling, playing fight and bite.

If not for the hostile situation at my neighbourhood, i really would've wanted to keep him, but sadly this kitty is so friendly and playful with just about everyone who approaches, hence he's vulnerable to ppl's attacks. Yet, i'm sure he will get along with a new owner very quickly!

Its not advisable to feed ur cats with raw food but once in awhile its ok ...Choose ur dry food properly n make sure the protein n fat is enough for ur cats..look n read the ingredients n don follow what ur frens say n what the petshops say. turn the bag of food n read properly whats the three main ingredient..make sure its not corn based or with by products n gluten.. I was working in petfood importer company n now i m fulll time homebreeder of cats n also supply catfood n cat litter to homebreeders n also catlovers..as for cat litter arms n hammer is a goood brand but its quite expensive...i rather go for something practical n that is a cat litter that is very good in clumping n with some fragrance..well u can use anything u wan cos it depends on ur affordability .. any questions u can always pm me.. I have about ten adult cats n they r alll on dry food..Giving ur cats raw foood is also quite good but u must be very sure of the food not contaminated with bacteria n the also the process of making it must be clean . never feed ur cats with raw ikan kembung ..tq. welll correct me if i m wrong cos i m also human n not superhuman .... he he.. just giving a piece of mind to all cat lovers ... wish u alll best of luck n lots of love for ur cats...

Cat are born to be a carnivore, 100% natural carnivore. They dont eat biscuit in the wild, they dont cook they prey in the wild, they hunt the prey and eat there right away. Dry commercial food is the main thing that causes many cat fall into serious health problem. First is obese, follow by UTI, gum problem, bad breath, kidney failed, vomiting, hairball and many more. Cat dont have the natural urge to drink water from the food bowl you ready for them, they water source is come from the meat and the prey they kill, the moisture is from raw meat with bone. Cat is survive on meat base protein, not from grain base, plant, vege or cooked meat by-products. Anything the cat eat MUST be animals base weather is protein or fatty acid, not from ANY plant or grain source.

Cat digestive tract is very difference from human, they have very acidic digestive system design to let them disgest raw meat with FULL of bacteria, with LOTS of bacteria on top of the meat. And their digestive track is short, they take about 12-16 hours only to digest all food and pass it out. In this way, the 'bad' bacteria have not time to breed in cat stomach.

Grain free canned food will be much much more better choise then dry commercial kibble, higher in moisture and have more meat.

I think u must be from olden days n very outdated in the pet industry..u don even know what petfood is in the market nowadays.. most high end catfood is grainfree n with fresh meat n fresh fish manufactured into kibbles.. yes u r right that all animals not only cat is canivores but when the hunt their prey the kill n eat it fresh n not wait till an hour or two later.. the meat that u buy from the market is not fresh n maybe chicken might be fresh cos u see them slaugthering it but tell me do u see them slaugthering beef or lamb ? ur fish swimming ? so thats why petfood manufacturers that produce high end food produce catfood that is grainfree n the fish fresh caught n meat fresh from farms..then they make it into kibbles n pack them n selll them to petlovers as highend foood that is super premium food..i don think everyone got the time to get fresh meat n fish that r stilll swimming. u only get fish that r frozen n thats not what u mean by fresh like what they eat in the jungles..u should go n check it out in petshops first before voicing urself n make urself laughing stock bro.as for hairball no food causes hairball.. its just the cat cleaning themselves n they take their hair while cleaning .. not because of the kibbles...as for water.. u try not letting ur cat drink water for a week n see...kidney failure willl be more on the preservatives that u reccomend ppl to buy for their cats..go n ask ur vets n they willl tell u more clearly..harmful bacteria cannot be digesated in their stomach..I think u better study more on catfood b4 u talk in this forum cos u r really talking like my grandpa in the 70s.. read the contant of the canned foood n please read the ingredients of super premium catfood before u comment on anything. My fren please don simply advise people if u don have knowledge of catfood n meat protein. check with ur frens or vets first otherwise u willl make a blunder of the cats life..study more on catfood like orijen or acana n also cat eye n let me know whats their ingredients .. i can prove u wrong if u read their ingredients properly cos u r really outdated n don know much about catfood that is grainfree n with real meat protein n fresh salmon oil....study more first b4 commenting bro... thank you...

I think the person who need to learn more before accuse me is your self. On the market right now, the most grain free feed contain no grain, but contain 25%-30% of carbohydrate in their ingredient, which cat no need more then 2% percent.

Since you instead of commercial dry food is good for cat, I will leave you to go with it. I come here to share. Here is a link for those who interested to know more what is so bad of dry food. http://www.rawfedcats.org/

Well its up to u to say ... I m a very practical man n have fed my cats with good n high end catfood without any hassle n my cats r very healthy n got no bad breath as u claim..when i say super premium means the catfood is grainfree n doesnt contain any by products n the meat is fresh n not frozen when they process it into kibbles.. i think most pppl in kl got no time to go looking for fresh meat n thenfeed their cats immediately with it... if u put inrto freezer then its no longer fresh raw meat..ppl overseas have more time to spend with their pets n have their source of getting real fresh meat but i don think u can really get fresh raw meat in kl .what u get from the market is not fresh n they r frozen so i hope u don get ppl confused by bringing in websites from overseas... lets be ethical here in malaysia..u have 1 cat its ok but what about those having 5 to 6 cats ? firstly i would like to know if u r a cat owner n how long have u kept a cat ? carbohydrates is good for everyone but u gotta know from what extract...helps to put weight to our cats... i don wanna keep a thin n lightweight cat..cats should be a bit chubby n if possible a bit heavy in body weight..make sure u know whats the ingredient b4 u purchase ur catfood...there must be no corn, gluten n by products which is harmful for ur cats..lets not argue la .... u feed ur cat ur way n we feed our cats our way as long as they r healthy cos we r talking about our malaysian community not overseas community...do it our malaysian way ..... malaysia bolih........ tq

hi there..we train the kitten to do their business in a cat litter tray from young n they wont simply do it anywhere else except in the cat litter tray which is fillled with clumping cat sand which we scoop n throw away .. so if u wanna keep cats indooor make sure the kitten r toilet trained n do it in the cat litter tray.. buy cat litter which clumps n ur house wont get stinko but make sure u r also free to scoop the clumped sand n dispose them..if they r on good nutrtious food the stool will be hard n wont stick to ur backside unlesss they r having cerit berit..

Like Mako said, you must train your cat to use the litter box. Most cats will have the instinct to use the litter box immediately so you won't need to train them. There are also cats when stressed or having some behaviour problems will avoid the litter box. Also, some cats, prefer to use a clean litter box so you must always ensure that your litter box is cleaned on a regular basis. Like one of my cats, he loves to wee wee in the litter box and if it is dirty he will poo outside the litter box sad.gif

Agree with Mako..... if you feed your cats with premium food, the cats poo will be nicely formed. If there is a sign of soft and watery poo, please bring your cat to the vet for a check up or change the food to a better food.

Well if ur cat have been fed with normal catfood please specify what type of normal catfood cos it makes a lot of difference on the ingredients inside.. welll if u really love n care for ur cat i advise u to give them proper premium or super premium catfood according to ur capability..well u can always upgrade ur cat from lower end to higher end food by changing it slowly which means u gotta mix with what have been feeding n slowly increase the proportion of the higher end food cos it needs time for their intestines to adapt to the new foood... sometimes it might take a week or two n u might even experience soft stool but do not be afraid as long as its not wet n watery stool... soft stool means ur cat is slowly adapting to the new food n gradually u willl find the stool is normal...have some patience n please dont panic when u see soft stool..good n nutritous food makes ur cat healthier n most of the super premium n premium food have also hairball control in their ingredient n also with their daily necessity protein n fat n ample omega oils..My advise willl be if possible give ur cats better quality food n u willl see the difference in a couple of months..I might be a homebreeder with 12 cats at home but i feed them with super premium food with with ingredient of fresh caught fish like salmon n trout n also fresh chicken meat with lots of salmon omega oils which makes ur cats fur look nicer n less shedding...I believe in producing quality kitten n not quantity..make sure my cats are fed with good n nutritous foood n also give then the necessary supplements... if u got any questions u can always pm me n i willl definitely reply as soon as possible... thank you
