The 1DMIIN is WAYYY better than the 20D. Your uncle's got a fine camera there... Since you only have two choices to make, I can only recommend the 1D. Beware though, once you go pro body, don't think you'll want to hold the consumer/ toy DSLR anymore... The shutter sound during max FPS is enough to make me drool...

then prepare yourself to get an EF 2470 / 24105 already. if no $$$ then Sigma EX DG 2470.

I used to see one video from, you tube,they combined 3x IDs MK3,the shutter sounds like a machine gun.

but the 1D's shutter count is already 400K++... to service later need more cash again... going to consider the 20D lah... hehehe... but seriously love the feel of the 1D... really does feel like the phrase "built like a tank"

aiyo... poisonnnnnn... it's ok lah... not ready to go pro yet... wanna go step by step... need money to service the shutter also... no budget already...

why those two? 2470 / 24105? I can still use my 70-200mm f4 L though rite?? with the 1D i mean... but my 18-55 cannot use rite?

Congratulations on the new thread. I thought most Canon DSLR have a shutter count limit of around 300k? AFAIK, Olympus has a shutter count of around 150k.

Depends, do u need it? I like the grid type one...its good for landscape shots..but then i wont spend that amount just to get that focusing screen:)...can photoshop ma ehhe

i wonder, people say digital still cant surpass film camera?
like i saw one comment say that digital camera aint fast enough in term of fps. something like that

i know the fun of dark room, processing film are irreplaceable. it's like fapping and having sex, it wont be the same.

i wanna know in term of spec wise, IE ISO control, noise, shutter speed, lens availability.

coz u know, today's generation where got film. even my dad's friend shop already close down. he was doing film processing. even taking passport photo using film. now no more.

today, seller called me again and offered me a hoya filter + casio watch (worth rm200) if I return it .. .. but .. I am thinking for 70-200 f2.8 IS for a 70-200 f4 IS + tamron SP90 Macro lens.. is my demand too much? ... ..

Kasihan lah the seller. Ppl also trying to earn a decent living. How the 2.8 ended up in a 4.0 box, that one, only the seller knows. Whether the seller/shop was trying any hanky panky, we should give them the benefit of doubt. I just hope that the person who sold u that lens is the boss n not the employee... else, he might have to make good the amount ( = potong gaji!!!!). Kasihaaaaaan....... "Demanding" for more items in exchange is like holding it at a ransom... not very good lah. Either u give it back, or u keep it. Don't 'bargain' like that. Just not right.

I remember the time when I bought my 40D, the sales rep forgotten to remove their demo battery from it after testing it. Returned it after realising it, and now I have no shame or guilt whenever I walk pass that shop.

Before you return the lens, you should also post the serial number of the lens as well as the shop you return it to. This is to protect potential buyer of that lens in case it is sold as NEW by the shop. Lens should be sold as USED after it is returned.

same thing when I purchase my fishing reel, I purchase something between rm700 but the boss mistakenly gave me something extra worth few hundred buck... I return it and now when ever I went to his shop... I get extra discounts and better services such as testing freaking expensive fishing toys

Once it leaves the shop, its considered sold oledi. If lens is returned, it should be at marked down USED price. How much is the mark down depends on the condition of the lens. But the buyer must be told about the history of the item. If you want to buy it at brand NEW price then go ahead . I wont.

What about DSLR then? You go buy a DSLR, come home and find out the shutter count is 67. You're ok with that? I know I'll be extremely pissed.
