QUOTE(TechnoDude94 @ Jun 28 2009, 11:39 AM) How about the "Color Tone"? RM30 i think including delivery. Uses IR so you must be facing the camera to trigger it... only got 2 modes... immediate shutter and 2 second shutter. Doesnt work if you are on Live view... im using 450DCongratulations on your new loot. Btw, did you remember to purchase another Lithium-Ion battery for the BG, cause the BG needs 2 Lithium-Ions (No, I'm not talking about the "AA Cartridge".? May I know how much did you pay for the Phottix-branded Infrared Remote Control? This post has been edited by seriosekitt3h: Jun 28 2009, 11:51 AM |

QUOTE(TechnoDude94 @ Jun 28 2009, 12:48 PM) It should work on mine (I'm using 500D). digital mania. May I know where'd you purchase yours (remote trigger)? I don't mind having only 2 modes. As long as got 2-second shutter, I'm fine. Sorry for this noob question, but where is the infrared port of my 500D? Argh, gotta read the manual again. between the lens and shutter button QUOTE(DanielYee @ Jun 28 2009, 01:10 PM) RM180 at http://www.regnumworldwide.com/ |

QUOTE(mykomputer @ Jun 28 2009, 09:10 PM) Same predicament as me. I own a nissin but can't trigger it with Phottix Pt-04, so I buy a cheapo flash. A cybertik DF MZ45. I bought it around RM430 i think at Click n Snap Penang. Thnaks dude! Cybertik works great with Phottix? Anyway my stand is similar to the tripod stand mechanics and design but it is aluminium not some cheapo plastic like the cheap tripod headsBtw your light stand, does it come with a spring or dampener? |

QUOTE(sukhoi37 @ Aug 5 2009, 08:06 PM) I suggest... ISO: >500 Shutter speed: >1/800 (can set to lower than 1/100 for panning depends on the downhill speed) Aperture: max it to get the highest shutter speed since most of the time we want to freeze the action. Set to burst mode(continuous shooting) Is the event held in the forest? YES If that case you might need to bump up the ISO even more. Max i will use ISO800 but from past experience, noise will appear I don't think flash is allowed during the event. I'm planning to use 2 strobes, 430EX II as Key Light at 15-45 degree of the camera and SB800 as Rim Light (1/3 of the Key Light power) and placed opposing the Key Light. Im using this during training sessions only but not at the race/time trials. Just my two cents. |

QUOTE(sukhoi37 @ Aug 5 2009, 09:49 PM) seriosekitt3h, i have tried strobing on 2 occasions so far... both on manual setting for each strobes.. i use only ISO400 whereas 800 will definitely gives noise. i also use Nikon D80 and still noise appears if ISO more than 800. Since you're going to use flash and strobe, i dun think you need to bump up the ISO alot. Looks like you know quite well about lighting system, i'm still newbie in this field so no comment on your setup. Do you plan to use multi-stroboscopic mode? I'm looking forward to see your result here. ![]() » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by seriosekitt3h: Aug 5 2009, 11:28 PM |
