guys,
does canon warranty cover fungus infection ? it seem like my 70-200F4LIS internal element had been infected by fungi ...... sweat.gif
there's quite some numbers of very fine dot which reassemble fungi ..
sigh... weather seal my ass doh.gif

edit - any recommendation for dry cab that could fit in 450+bg, 24-105L, 70-200L, tamron sp90, IS kitty and a flash ?

Ouch that's gonna hurt ~~  I always keep it in a tupperware filled with 2 bags of silica(about 200gm) yet it still kena infected sad.gif sad.gif

it's time to invest on a dry cabinet .. hmm
*
bro, get an AIPO dry cabinet ! i bought it cheap last weekend from a guy at LYN ! cheapest on the market...

before i get the dry cabinet, i was using a cheap container + silica gel ! i keep all my gears in but i found out no use ! the silica gel suck a lot of moisture from the atmosphere !!! all silica gel become jelly ....

in my opinion, if L lense kena fungus, you will CRY !!! even bring to canon expert to clean it, they will took everything apart and not good for the lens anymore...

Come on Canoners... Willing to drop thousands on L and body but not even bother too invest on a few hundred ringgit worth proper dry cabinet... sad.gif With our country's humid atmosphere, it's a shame I must say...  doh.gif

macro attachment/filters increase your minimum focus distance, its close up,
non macro lens will never be a macro lens,
try not to buy canon filters, expensive and quality not good ?  laugh.gif
