Hi piju, we are really hope that you may share with us how you install ur garmin in step by step and you could also share with us, what file you using.

The Garmin installed in my E72-1 by my retailer works fine so far, even when I updated the firm ware at Nokia centre. My phone works fine now compared to my E71. I feel that Nokia is not having enough QC on the batches of phones they shipped.

same firmware with you (teelim), same problem with the garmin, map navigation hang after 3-5 minutes, then voice command continue but for another 3-5 minutes, software totally hang...

same with mine. but i still facing garmin problem issue.

As I have said it could be that Nokia has poor QC on hardware before shipping them. If you are unlucky to get a faulty one, you will have endless problems. Hardware issues are usually the main culprit.

One reason I don't get problems with my present E72-1 is that I don't install a lot of stuff, only the Garmin which was pre-installed by my retailer. Each time I make sure I exit all applications out of habit before I use Garmin. Helps to free the phone memory.

I hope they release firmware update soon. It's pretty buggy. Crashes pretty often. My space bar occasionally goes out of order. Only restarting the phone remedies this problem.

yah man... I recently just encountered the same prob. it was soooooooo irritating

yea yea...space bar sometime just stop working, need to restart. hmp...overall i love this phone very much, just hope they can have update version to fixed all the bugs. but for the garmin, maybe will try other version and see if the same problem happen again...hmp...

Hoping the new firmware can solve the problem too...but not putting high hope on it though...

still waiting those who successfully installed the Garmin to revert back with the exact version (may asking share the exact installation file) and the step by step guide to perform installation.

how do you guys make the spacebar problem happen? i've been using the phone for 2 weeks still never encountered this...

the only thing i encountered is the web browser sometimes make my navikey and arrow keys not functioning unless i press home and quit it.

So far no problem, but some bugs here and there:
Pros:
1) Email received damn fast, received within few second..Good Job!!
2) IM features quite good!! But cant have 2 msn on at the same time(pc)
3) Touch light freaking bright!!
4) Opt Navi not bad, keep using it.
5) Messaging no problem at all,
6) Overall performance very good!! 600Mhz processor really did its job!

Cons:
1) Plug in USB, and then uplug it the Battery still show charging
2) Sometimes open email, ovi, do a lot of stuff then suddenly hang for 2-3 second then phone reboot....
3) Bluetooth transfer, sometime connection lost...(maybe file too large)
4) Garmin issue....hang...

Thats all, some i forgot..anything to add?

i can't open facebook application or by browser..it will reboot the phone...sometimes my call will just hang on the screen...

Try a hard reset.
