about 5 mins later, she said "sometime in November", but cannot confirm on the date or anything. So I really hope that she or her manager is right.

A few days back, I actually called Nokia (the 1800 number that is shown at the bottom of the Nokia advertisement in the newspaper) asking about the launch date of the E72 and a lady with a funny accent told me "sometime in the 3rd Quarter of the year". Then I told her, "Its the 4th Quarter now" and she kept quiet for about 2 seconds and then told me that she will check with her manager.
about 5 mins later, she said "sometime in November", but cannot confirm on the date or anything. So I really hope that she or her manager is right. |

QUOTE(tunasandwich @ Oct 24 2009, 07:20 PM) isnt RM1700 - 1900 range a lil high for E72? no touchscreen, Symbian OS....? E72 runs symbian oswhen E71 1st came out, it was RM1400+ for Ori, no? I only see some minor upgrades compared to E71, will it really be RM1700 - RM1900? if it's really so, its quite a turn off :-S |

QUOTE(tunasandwich @ Oct 26 2009, 12:13 AM) touchscreen phones generally cost more regardless of individual preferrences.... anyway just trying to gauge the price of the phone when it's launched.... anyone can help give a good estimation? I think it should be around RM1800. A little more expensive than the E75 because of the better camera and processor. |

QUOTE(limtayar @ Oct 26 2009, 10:15 AM) IMO, it wont go any higher than 2k. but BB got lousy camera and also no front facing cameraMYR 1600-1900, certainly. Considering the long-wait and all N-series are the ones which most probably gonna be more than >2k (N900,N97mini etc.) E72, yet to be another rival in the BB's list for sure, although i am eyeing for a BB due to the bad waiting game played by NOKIA. |

QUOTE(Reave @ Oct 30 2009, 10:15 AM) blackberry has bad camera, no 2nd camera, some models no 3g, n worst of all, no pre-installed quickoffice. for someone like me, its vital, must have. i'd rather go for e72, though hoping for a bigger screen & keypad. QUOTE(Joshua_0718 @ Oct 30 2009, 01:13 PM) want big screen & key pad? well, there is always the N97 |

QUOTE(Reave @ Oct 30 2009, 10:26 PM) n97 got too much bad reputation from users out there. In LYN alone got too much ppl selling it 2nd hand. Well, the N900 is not a candy bar too. BTW, I was interested in it too until I saw the method of zooming in/out when web browsing & personally, i prefer candy-bar type phone than slider or clampshell. i've tried e71 & e90 for instance, to come with conclusion that e90 is too heavy, & always have to re-open the phone everytime i want to send email or messaging. e71 is ok, but will be great if has larger screen & keypad. I had sweet experience with e61i before, good keypad & screen. but lacks memory space & GPS. Now considering between e72 or n900, hmm.. |

QUOTE(Reave @ Oct 31 2009, 11:30 AM) Yes i know its a slider, but maybe can tolarate a little.. heheh.. yeah man, I feel the same. but i'm looking forward to the xperia x10 for that actually. What? n900 can install garmin? Hmm, serious disadvantage. but maybe ppl will try to solve it later on? cuz maemo is told to be open source something like that. as a consumer, i was hoping for a great ultimate perfect (or almost perfect) phone, but there is actually no such thing. well at least till now.. 1 thing about the n900 though. the battery life is good for about 1day use only, whole day sms and browsing (as quoted by nokia reps who were explaining the phone - watched on youtube) so thats like a REALLY REALLY bad aspect of the phone. |

QUOTE(User61 @ Nov 11 2009, 08:38 PM) To all owners of the new E72: does your navipad make a loud "clicking" sound when you press "left"? Mine does. Clicking on the other positions - top, bottom and left produces a faint and muffled clicking sound but pressing "left" makes a loud clicking sound. Very annoying. nope... only get occasional funny click sound when pressing left soft keyQUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Nov 11 2009, 10:09 PM) yes |
