No luck in PJ. The Indonesian press are reporting the launch of the E72 tomorrow at the Ritz Carlton in Jakarta though.

Welp, the only questions that I really wanna ask is when will it hit the stores here and how much does it cost? tongue.gif

Is yours a prototype or production unit.

With a 600MHz processor, it should be as snappy if not snappier than the iPhone.

Yes I will pay the extra RM500 (USD500 ~= RM1700) for the E72. RM800? I think not.

QUOTE(adrive @ Sep 24 2009, 09:26 PM)
i tried browsing through full flashed lowyat.net, it is faster than nokia 5800. But, still, not as fast as I hoped since it looks like it chokes if i wanna scroll very far away from top to bottom.
*
lowyat.net is a hideous monstrosity full with flash crap/ads. It's slow even on the PC.

Currently the 1500mAh battery is the largest in Nokia's inventory, higher capacity is always better though.

Wow, I'd be really pissed if it's coming out in Dec here while it's released in US and UK in a few days. I'm stuck with my dying phone for so long just because I wanna wait for the E72. Hmmmmmm.

Look forward to a December launch peeps. My hunch is November being the earliest. Why december? nokia.co.id told me so.

Been waiting for this phone since June, makes me wanna buy a non-Nokia to spite them. Huarghh.

Looks like Belgium is probably going to get the E72 by mid November. http://www.astel.be/Nokia-E72-Azerty-Black...418-90euro_3515

To hell with touchscreen. smile.gif I like my tactile response thank you very much. I do agree it's relatively minor upgrade from E71 though.

It is possible to take pictures with the front facing camera with my N70, it's probably possible with the E71/72 too.
