Currently thinking of buying this phone and I was just wondering if it plays the normal 350 MB divx avi videos (out of the box or 3rd party applications) smoothly. I would like to skip the converting process part on my side.

speed good. very fast. mine is an unlimited data package. without minimum monthly commitment. everyday use to da max. my last month digi bill only 15 bucks

but this package is not digi official package that they r offering to users. it's customized corporate package for my company.

Added on December 5, 2009, 4:49 pmomg. u're oledi da 4th person i know with stuck/dead pixel on e72. what is wrong wif nokia?? don't they have quality control anymore?? and dat day da nokia ppl called me up. asking me to give their service a rating, and also how likely i would recommend nokia to my friends, from a point of 1 poor to 5 the best. for service i gave 0, and for recommendation oso i gave 0. damn i dun care whether 0 is an option or not. i suspect now dat mebe the 1st batch of e72 at msia here got some prob, but nokia never bother to highlight it out to the public.

After updating to version 5.00.60... my garmin still crashes. Anyone facing the same problem?

Someone already stated .60 only includes updates for s60v5 so I'm not surprised problem still persists.

im a new e72 user, i wanna ask about the opti navigation key...
the light glows from time to time when im not touching it..is it normal?

It is breath light, u can off it if u wan.
Go to control panel, setting, general, personalisation, notification lights, standby br. light.

i'm tested v5.00.50 and v5.00.60 with latest mapfreemap v091130, both version are still having the same problem. After 3-5min, it will hang and no response.

Appreciate anyone have the solution for that.

last night installed the gaminr 5.00.60. today for the 1st time positioning, it took me about 20 minutes (inside the car). after that it work find for a few minutes, but then the navigation screen hang, but voice command still working (weird). then second time try again, able to connect to satelite signal within 10 second and calculate the route, but then after about 5 minutes, the software hang again, not responding untill i press the home button to get out from it.

appreciate that if anyone can provide a fix for the garmin, because most of the time i will use it la...

Count me in as a fellow E72 user! I got the black one yesterday. Traded in two old Sony phones for it. It's an Avaxx set. I'm liking it so far, especially the keyboard. It's a real breeze, and such a relief from my previous phone where the keypad was shot to hell.

Yes, we all having the same problem. We are waiting feedback from those users who are no issue on their garmin version.
