i dont use rmvb so no issue for me. i use mainly mkv n some avi. if anything i want to have with hd audio i just buy bd.

I have both Realtek and Sigma... but my eyes not bionic enough to see the difference. Maybe I watch too far away from TV

no need go for Sigma in this case...

I just got my Xtreamer Pro installed and have firmware updated. Awesome !

I have a small problem on Xtreamer Pro, I can view my Xtreamer Pro HDD from my iMac via LAN, copy and transfer files from my iMac to HDD, however, I can't access my iMac (I have set my iMac to share) via Xtreamer Pro, it pops up a small window on net user ID and password, I have entered my iMac user name and password, but I just can't access files inside the shared folder. Please enlighten me ...

have you check the security / permission level on the mac??

Firewall too affect it... check firewall set to off (router and mac)

I have checked my router setting, it's also at disable mode, what's is Net User ID, Net password? I tried to key in the router username and password, it failed to login Please enlighten ...

Jukebox really give me headache . Sometimes its there, sometimes its not.
Need to off and on again a couple of time, then its back there.

Anyone know what is the source of this problem?

I can see my shared my folders without network user ID and password; but for public folder, it's still pop with ID and password.

that is a known issue. try using jukebox by benhur a slightly modified version (v1.35). much better then the one made by xtreamer.

IMHO. benhur version is the most stable among the modified xjukebox....

I'm using 5 MB Line play quite smoothly provided the line is not in used for other things lah.... (Unifi should score in this)

I'm using 1mb streamyx; wifi connection to xtreamer 5 meter apart, and its suck; lag and keep on buffering; make me don't wanna using it again .

Nothing wrong with the file. It is the problem with realtek chipset. It cannot play mkv with high reframe rates as higher reframe rates requires more processing power which the Xtremer relatek chip just cannot play it. Anything hgher than 4 reframe will experience screen tearing. You will encounter more movies with screen tearing due to this high reframe rates.

That is why the WDTV Live sigma chipset is better as it can play all these high reframe rates mkv without any problem, except it cannot play rmvb. So its between rmvb or mkv you have to choose between realtek and sigma. For me i choose sigma as rmvb are low quality with I don't bother to watch.
