I connect direct to my Router and nice to say the File transfer rate is approx 2.0Mb/sec which is pretty fast!!!
Updated to Firmware 2.4.2 yeap they fix the mkv issue on file rendering now I can watch all my mkv without recompile... nice... |

Yes the first bootup screen the BIG RED X is at 480p and will subsiquently flick and adjust to your LCD resolution 720p or 1080p

I'm usin 1 Samsung 2TB good enough at 5200rpm not so noisy and less heat as it spin at lower speed....

Hotway can plug USB into Xtreamer and it works.... also Hotway RAID storage has NAS

I get around 2M/sec transfer rate on wireless G (from Pc to Router) and Router via CAT5 to Xtreamer pro

Y jump to sigma when Xtreamer can do most of the stuff sigma can do except slightly better graphics tone...
Xtreamer has DTS-MA now... oh yes 4TB HDD support kekeke |

have you check the security / permission level on the mac??
