i was told new sets of tyre should be stressed out like that, at least let it run smoothly for around 500km or so, then only start using its full potential performance of the tyre
btw, you said the PS3 was good on comfort, do try the performance and get back to us alright?

well dry performance is better than PS2 as reviewed by x-PS2 user... review is pasted below, there is more from him b4 this u can browse urself at the forum...

Pilot Sport series quality control is very very strict and the difference in quality, if any, between an Asean manufactured one compared to non Asean manufactured one is very negligible. Not to worry if the purchased PS3 is Asean manufactured or EU or Japan manufactured smile_thumbup.gif
Latest update on my PS3...even senior citizen whom I've given lifts the last few weeks commented that my ride has become sooo much more softer and comfortable...in their limited knowledge on car modification, they asked me "...what did I do to my absorbers/suspension system?" I just grinned and said, "...pasang absorber lembut sikit supaya dapat tahan lubang-lubang kat jalanraya kita" Bear in mind, this difference in softness and comfort is noticeable even compared to my outgoing GY Eagle F1 Asy, which was already a very comfortable tyre smile_blush.gif
Most important update...lately, I was able to drive the PS3 in torrential rain both in country roads and the highways...all I can say is this...up to now I subjectively found the PS2 being very closely superior in the wet compared to the GY Eagle F1 GSD3 (to me the king of wet traction and wet handling). But now I stand to be corrected....subjectively to me, THE PS3 JUST TOPPLED THE GY Eagle F1 GSD3 from this position and is now my new benchmark of the king of wet traction and wet handling smile_thumbup.gif smile_thumbup.gif smile_thumbup.gif
Couple that with its already superior dry handling and high speed stability and pricing, I can safely say Michelin has struck the near perfect formula in performance tyre production smile_clown.gif
Now to see how long during its treadwear will PS3 retain these strengths? Will it still deliver these superior features up to 60% worn vs 70% vs 80% worn vs 90% worn? To me, if it can last up to 80% to 90% worn, it is indeed GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY smile_approve.gif But that is yet to be proven smile_blush.gif

Sure bro...will let the tyres run in first b4 heading for ch.....u using ps3s too?
nah 100km is more than enough... it grips well u can do corners about 10~2km/h compare to others UHP tires like Michelin PP2 and Hankook V12 evo...

195/50/15 ps3 user report in... couldnt give any review cuz tis is my 1st set of traction AA uhp tire...
welcome to the club, PS3 can be consider as UHP but it was listed as a extreme tire at most of the website as PS2 was in extreme category also... once u used a tire like this grade you will hardly find another tire like that next time... that was my problem after swap to Michelin PP2 on end of 2006, until now i never turn back to lower range of tire, UHP tire was fitted to my Vios since then...
