Mine is 15". What's the price for xm1 195/55/r15?
Doubt on getting Falken Indon tyre. Be it 552 or 912.
Met a seller today keep promoting 552 and bashing on NCT5.
I think he just want me to clear his 552 stock? RM180 for that doesnt seems cheap.
Maybe will increase bit budget to get Yoko C Drive, if only it's around RM200 plus a bit.
Priority is silent, comfort and safety.

Added on March 17, 2010, 12:48 amOh ya, I left out Michellin Xm1. Is the price around RM200?

if not mistaken XM1 does not come in this size (call up Michelin to verify)... Michelin Primacy LC does, around RM230 kua... yes C Drive is good but again Yokohama stop the C Drive production on this size, so Yokohama ES501 is another option... NCT5 is a no no no, traction in wet deteriorate only 50% used, bad bad tire...
912 is not that bad is only that you need to make sure ur air pressure is well maintain, if not the side thread will wear more faster... others that u can try out is Goodyear GSD3, Michelin PP2, Yokohama S Drive, Toyo T1R or DRB, Hankook V12 all of these is Ultra High Performance tire... but Toyo's tire and Hankook's tire give you a lil more comfort than others...
so if you priority is comfort Yokohama ES501, Michelin Primacy LC, Falken 912
Yokohama C Drive (if you still can find but make sure it's manufacturing date is less than 1 yrs
for toyo brand try to call them up to ask about available comfort tire on this size... coz i only know more on performance side...

For 165/55/14, how does yoko a drive fare when compared with potenza re030 and ziex 326 and 912 ?

Still finding and reading which one is better but i get mixed reviews rclxub.gif

A drive is a entry level tires and Falken 3 and 5 series of tires is not that recommended to use...
912 is quite decent for ppl that need comfort with a lil performance... not really like BS mid range of tires as it does not live up to the name of Potenza (Performance tires)... if you want nice handling and good amount of grip, Kumho ESPT gives you good value vs the performance u get... smile.gif

well Bridgestone tires sometimes is not up to expectation... i also duno y so does Goodyear also... sometimes it is a bit hard to tell... if you need comfort try others, what is ur size btw??? u have some comfort tire similar with GR90 range is Michelin Primacy LC, Toyo C1S both of this have good feedback but C1S seems performing better in wet than Primacy LC...

well i used ER60 before.. and since GR90 is still considered new.. wonder if anyone facing same thing with me..

tyre size is 205/65/R15..

but GR90 is quite good considering it does really well in wet and really good grip compared to my previous ER60

well who knows after 50% of use... coz the quality of tire is not base on new tire but also after 50% of use, a lot of them failed here and the normal that we can see is GY NCT5 which i had used 2 set b4 (traction in wet sucks after 50%), Conti CC1 (after sometime bulging, mine 4 months of use), Bridgestone MY-01 (sucks is wet after sometime) and more...
i think your size has Toyo C1S which has good feedback from some of the fussy user... so maybe u can mark that as ur next change...

I had change 4pcs my 17k mileage NCT5 to Primacy LC,
One thing i notice, during Dry, LC is just abit better than NCT5, but on Wet, LC is more worst than even my 50% NCT5.

well there is a lot of case that ppl complaint about Primacy LC's wet... as it is for comfort sure it will loose to a performance tire... but again sometimes it depends on situation also... all i know is wet traction is ok but hydroplaning effect on LC is not that good compare to NCT5...

if u are 195/65 R15 and above u can give Toyo C1S a try which quite some numbers of good feedback, at least it is better than LC in wet...
there is a reminder, if you are looking for comfort... then Primacy LC and C1S is good, but those tires wet traction or hydroplaning resistance might loose to a performance tire... so there is always pros and cons... so set your priority b4 purchase...

btw bro mind to tell me what vehicle are you driving...

Anyone have experience with Toyo Proxes C1F?

Still hunting tyres for my car.
245/40/R19 either no stock or too expensive, considering 225/40/R19 now.
