I'm from jb and the service is extremely horrible. Few weeks ago the telephone line just died, so no phone (cant receive calls or call out) and streamyx service is extremely unstable! disconnects every 5 minutes. (even now) called 100 at least more than 5 times from my cousins house who is not affected. WTF?!
Every time i call them they say next 25 hours will be okay but that never happens!

Internet connection went down last night. The cause is the equivalent of Error 678. Great ... it's going to be another long wait till it's fixed.

Very weird on downloading speed, p2p download speed was fast when the start but after minutes later , speed completely drop down around 10 to 20KB/s

Just wondering does anyone here still have a copy of the service agreement between SKMM and Streamyx which indicated 90% of the subscribed bandwidth should be allocated to its users by 2009. I have seen someone posted a copy here before, but it's no where to be seen now. Need it to bombard my local Streamyx technician that keeps claiming only 70-80% is what we suppose to receive. Anyone? same in kuching.... streamyx slows down during christmas... should be faster, bcoz should be less people using it while busy with celebrating christmas. my 2mbit goes to 1.2mbit. cry.gif

my 1Mb suddenly dropped for no ******* apparent reason from 1Mbps to somewhere around 200kbps since it's installed 4 days ago and started from the 1st 20 mins of using it. customer service fixed it, but **** dropped again from the moment i place the ******* phone down back to 200-some kbps. any idea why? my hf account is basically useless now.

DAMN TMNUT SCREAMYX!!!!

EDIT: I found out that my connection speed only rises to 1Mb when i'm calling someone's house that has a streamyx account or tm support and drops back when the line is cut from my side and does not drop when the other side of the phone dropped the call. anyone with any idea why?

called to TM customer service twice today.

I subscribed 1mbps, but the speed test only shown not more than 500kbs.
things that even worst, is when it cant buffer youtube video at all. It just stuck there.

Followed the customer service for troubleshooting. Restart modem, do speed test... again and again the same steps. Download speed still shown abnormal. They told me i should have 800kbs download speed with the package i subscribed.

Passed the complaint to Technical dept, technician called me, telling me they have restarted the port and etc, and say everything is normal at their side. Asked me to run speed test, was happy because it reach 800kbps.. but once put down the phone, I test again and download speed drop back to initial.

I was so mad.. and called to customer service again, this time we do a little more troubleshooting.. but still go through restart modem and speed test. Then check on configuration of ip, check ping, check DNS, restart computer..

Downlaod speed increased to normal, able to buffer video.. after finish buffer a video, went try for another one.. then it stuck again doh.gif
So customer service, record down this problem and send to technical dept again.. and i shall wait for their call, they told me if after 72 hours it still remain call them again.

Added on January 3, 2011, 6:14 pmanyway, although i am mad, but the customer services are friendly. =D both answered my call was lady.

I can barely download anything over 50MB. Almost every download fails and have to be restarted. I call the Screamix people up complaining about their fcuked up connection. And for that they send someone over to my house to check on this lah, check on that lah, just to show they do a little bit of job. Then I ask the guy what happened to my 115 IP address, why I can only connect to 175 these few weeks. He tells me when 115 gets congested, people get kicked to 175. And 175 is in Penang! HAHAHA.... That's cute. Screamix. Very cute.

then you can lodge your complaint through http://complaint.cfm.org.my

I lodged my complaint yesterday night, and received a call from them to verify on my issue and steamyx account no.
