n 512mb it's dial up speed. So freaking slow. knnccb. Been calling 100 everyday scold, yell, shout, scream. The are immune to it.

darn it...all of a sudden my internet dies n my router lost my username n pass. Re-entering my user n pass back doesn't helps! Suspecting to be my router or streamyx in my area died. Thru my routers diagnostic page, it can connect to ppp server but fail authentication...wat the heck. Anyone else affected or is it just me? Am using my phone at the moment.

Slow as hell! just 2 days ago 1mb downlaods within acceptable range at 80-110kbs now its like 10-20kbs WTF!!!

My modem Internet setting shows that "Data Rate Down/Up 1536/512 (Kbps)", but speedtest.tm.net.my reported "Average download 235 kbps" "Average upload 123 kbps", the results not normal right?

You can only get 51KB/s speed with that kind of connection. Also, yes, SpeedTest is just giving you your connection speed, you still have to calculate in order to get the actual speed.

1000Kb/s = 125Kb/s
5000Kb/s = 625Kb/s
10000Kb/s = 1250Kb/s
20000Kb/s = 2500Kb/s

So, don't get too excited if your SpeedTest result shows your speed is 20000Kb/s.

P.s. I'm referring to Kb(kilobits) not KB(kilobytes). Both of these terms are different.

For several days now, I've been experiencing connection stability issues. Any form of download or upload of around 1mb or more is virtually impossible by the fact that the connection seems to 'reset' itself, meaning I would have to restart my DL/UL all over again. Streaming videos, eg youtube, rubbish. It would load/buffer til 3-5% then stop, and would need to be restarted to even get the video moving again. No video ever finished, even really small ones. Even loading of 'heavy' (lots of graphics etc) web pages can get stuck halfway, and need to reload again. Good thing can still load simple pages like forums, email.

Already called 100, reset port etc, still same. Supposedly no problem my area. Local tech who called later said shouldn't be problem with my area/line n prbly issue with main line blablabla....which he said will continue until year end. WTF???!!!!

Edit: speedtest.net (usual n TM one) can never be completed. Sometimes the page doesn't load, at most can do ping test only, and gets stuck trying to do DL/UL test.

The connection now crawling slow, loading keep waiting waiting ....

damn streamyx? download speed in the morning suddenly drom from 150kB to 30kB! what's worse, the connection keeps disconnecting, i can't download anything! (funny, the connection dc but i can still load pages -.-)
