Actually,the answer is both,its normal for Streamyx to be sh**y and you should really chew someone's head off,namely people of Streamyx! sweat.gif

Streamyx dunno why is stupidly useless in the morning and early afternoons. Frequent disconnections. And takes more than 4mins to load up their browsing test when I'm on the phone with customer service.

Streamyx's Customer Interaction keeps cutting off while tranferring me to a customer service rep. WTF is this crap.

just call 100, make report, call again follow up
when all problem solved call again, choose billing option.. ask for bill adjustment..
then they wil check how long ur internet got problem,
if can, the next month bill wil got rebate..

My 384kbps stimix can get average 45kbps dl speed.

My unifi service was installed on 13-1-2011 at Sungai long area. All things seems ok in the beginning except some bad signal once in a while. However recently, my service is totally out. No internet, no tv, no phone. So I filed a report to TM Unifi on 3-3-2011. Report number: 1839281899. They said they will look into it, and the technical agent will contact me to verify the status. However until today 8/3/2011, I still have not received any update from their side. And instead I have to call in everyday to the unifi customer service to check and enquire about the problem. And every time I called in I have to at least wait for 10-15 mins before I was attended to. And sometimes the line even get cut off during the conversation and I have to called again and wait and wait. Just a frustrating experience dealing with Unifi.

Just made a call to customer service again, they mentioned they don’t have much information to update me cause they also have no info or update from the 2nd level. 2nd Level is in charging the technical issues. So they just ask me to wait again as there is nothing they can do about it. And there is nothing I could do either.

What’s happening with this TM Unifi thing??? What’s happening to the customer service and technical service? even though they mention 24/7 service, and I don’t think they are doing it. Or else I don’t think they’ll need such a long time just to handle this little problem. I would demand for compensation if this is still not solved in a timely manner.

Really hope that TM-Unifi will take a deep and clear look into this issue.

lousy definately need some1 to come up more stable and consistent connection speed.... check my streamyx speed at night...

Guys,
I jsut found out that my downloading speed is way below average.
I read on a few posts already where people with lower mbps speed than mine get a higher download kbps more than me.

Im using 4mbps.
Usually when I download from RShare, it's speed is around 100kbps MAX. Same goes MUpload, FServe etc.

I always found it strange to spend 5-6 hours downloading a 800mb file from MUpload. While when I used 512kb, it took 8-9 hours and Im supposed to be using 4mbps now, which is almost 8 times faster than last time.

And in my Australia house, we used a 3-4.5mb internet speed and it always took me 1.5hours only to download a 800mb file from Mupload.

If your Megaupload is using Free Server, the speed is capped. If premium user it's unlimited speed. Sometimes Streamyx can do little about that.

Unifi team,

Can you please do something to stabilise the performance ? No point to make your call center busy to hear complaint and make call to customer few times to check if the problem still there, if you have not found out what went wrong or do nothing, don't hope problem will go away by itself. vmad.gif mad.gif

Digi is more f**k up then other I belive... it is not slow, but gay disconnection almost every nite, and the best part is.... when you try to connect back, you might need to wait or instant saw the GAY redial button come out. Damn you Digi, my room from almost full bar or HSPDA signal to almost EDGE always, and then cant connect. This have force me to take out my Maxis Sim card and swap with the digi into the modem. Hell, Digi, please change the tag line to "Internet Done WORST", the connection become slower I still can torelant. But clicking the redial button multiple time just to connecting back for less then 5 mins then repeat the step? Going to try out Yes 4G, then I will go to your website and file a complaint to F U upside down.
