Try using klook.com

Before that, why don’t try to calculate with cashback from shopback, probably you could get more discount...

2. Try also combo by paying nz/aud currency, using bigpay... If the timing is right, even cheaper than paying using RM...

Gud luck...

How much did you all typically spend on diesel for your 2 weeks trip / lets say 3500km drive?

I am asking those who hired campervans 2, 4 , 6 berth not campercars / normal cars type

This few days the temperature in Auckland around 17, night time around 14, still not that cold.

I would say normal/light jacket will be good enough

17 degrees is a nice temperature in Auckland. But it all depends how cold is cold to you. For some people 20 degrees they are still in t-shirt while others are already wrapped up like a dumpling. Just bring what you feel is sufficient and if it's really not enough when you're there you can always buy another jacket.

Auckland winter is not that cold. Normal tshirt and fleece jacket should suffice. Most important is, bring thick socks and youre good to go. But if you plan to go further south, then you will need thermal shirts. And you can get those cheap at the Warehouse too. I myself wear 1thermal+fleece jacket, cotton track bottom and blanket socks (bought from daiso). My place here in Palmy North, lowest temp right now is 3deg, highest is 22. But of course, when sleeping you just turn on the heater la.. 😁

check the temp from metservice, last week overnight temp is close to 0 and frosty grass in the morning, south island will be colder

Also a reminder, it wasn't the temp that make you feel cold. it is the wind and absent or sunshine

Hope that help

You should be using the official NZ immigration website for this:

Suggest to use BigPay card if you have.

The exchange rate is competitive, not necessary need to go exchange NZD, but a small amount will do.

I just came back last month, 99% of spending from my BigPay card I would say

Have any of you drove from South Island to North Island with a campervan before?

is there any sites that sells cheap ferry tickets for the cook straits crossing?

I see that to bring a campervan across is so expensive averaging around NZD300

Hi guys, appreciate your input on this

Planning NZ sometime next year, flying to OOL by AA, then take a connecting flight to CHC by Jetstar

However, the AA flight arrives at 10am, and the connecting flight by Jetstar is at 2.30pm, wondering if 4 hours is enough to make the connection? hmm.gif

Also is transit visa required?

Thanks smile.gif

I drove normal sedan car boarding on the ferry between 2 islands
U can request for the exchange car between the island, you ask ur car renter.

Mine has no choice because my time is peak period, no car was available that time.

btw, in wellington u can eat for OK-ish nasi lemak or fried hokkien mee.
