No internet. I'm sick of this stupid monopoly and all other crap ISPs. I might even move to my sister's place in Singapore.

my connection is smooth (yesterday & today) no matter what IP I connect...
MU, RS, HotFile, Netload all fast....but depositfiles is slow....
EDIT: I guess TM can't satisfy all Malaysian user at once....u see...when there's ppl complaint, they'll be sure ppl saying their connection like lighting fast or watsoever...& vice versa....I really not sure how this Screamyx thing works, but pls put a few more wires underwater, build few more towers will help? I duno, but pls 'upgrade'

I just recieved a info. from a TM staff. He's in LYN too. He said the core network upgrade is not completed yet. They're still working on it. So some area still maybe experiencing slowdowns.
He told me when the upgrade is complete, TM will announce the completion of the upgrade on their website ASAP.

QUOTE(ericpires @ Jun 22 2009, 02:09 PM) Wtf haven upgrade complete? OMG!!! Upgrading of a large infrastructure is not a simple process that can be done in a couple of days. As I said in another post, there may be upgrades in the next few weeks as well. Upgrades are done by areas. Then like anything else that changes, there may be some problems arising due to the upgrades which has to be sorted out. Whether we will all eventually benefit from all this, we have to see. Also, just because TM said they are doing core network upgrade, they did not say our connections will be much better after that. They are upgrading their local backbone / network infrastructure. While some may see some improvement, the lack of international bandwidth or throttling etc etc will still cause slow connections. It seems users think that as soon as the upgrade is done, everything will be fast. I hope so, but I think the core network upgrade is mainly to cater for the upcoming HSBB. Whether the regular connections will see any improvement remains to be seen. This post has been edited by mylinear: Jun 22 2009, 03:59 PM
