@PhantomAssasin this problem happens cos your telco thinks its OK to charge you extra for extra usage, and you disagree. so either you buy shares and take over the company, or pay up.

just a quick question, for u guys who using unlimited data plan (eg. Digi), do u guys let the 'cellular data' on all the time even when theres wifi?
cuz im just abit confuse how does the iphone select cellular data or wifi if we on both at the same time? i juz find it a little hassle to switch the data on & off when theres wifi just to safe on the 1gb quota |

No need to switch off as you would see the wifi symbol next to telco logo if connected to wifi!

I will never, never have an account with Maxis. After a bad experience 5 years ago, I consider them "the cheating people company". They will make "mistakes" in their bills which I believe are intentional. How come the mistakes never favour the user, always favour Maxis?
MCMC should regulate this "cheating people company." There is no logic that users cannot check their data usage before the bill comes out. It's like saying your electric meter can only tell you your consumption at the end of the month and only then. Is Maxis as a technology driven company saying that they can't do it? Or they won't allow users to check usage for their own obvious reason? Just port to Digi and avoid all the ishock from Maxis. |

any1 having problem tethering with maxis?
Ive been tethering and it was fine.. until few days back.. as usual i select tethering from the iphone and connect the usb, im able to surf for few mins and then the connection just hangs... no in out data... but i still can surf like normal on the iphone... |

Need some help here ,
I'm on the 1GB data plan for maxis. Checked iPhone4 usage Sent: 44mb , Received 776mb last reset ( 20/12/2010 ) Checked Unbilled RM513.66 (as of 10/01/2011 10AM) Checked Current and Outstanding balance : Current Bill (due date) = RM106.37 (09/01/2011) and oh ya...my iP4 is Jb-ed My line is barred already.
