what's the point of unlimited when speed is only 128kbps ?

The point is u still can use whatsapp on the move, receive email, can ym, can browse fB......without extra charge.

There's always something for everybody la... no such thing as this telco better that telco better. It might be better for you but it won't be better for others. For instance your case you use a lot of data therefore you stick with DiGi. Good for you. But for me, I use a lot of internet as well, and speed is my concern. Therefore I stick with Maxis. 1GB is more than enough for me, because when I'm at work and home, there's full WiFi coverage. I only use the 3G data service when I'm outside at places where there's no WiFi coverage, and my monthly usage never exceed 200MB. That's why I say there's always something for everyone.

I'm on digi rm63 plan, if i turn on d "cellular data" and "Enable 3G" for 24/7, will i get additional charge? since digi said no extra charge if quota is over (reduce speed only), hence there should not be a GPRS charge, right?

May I know where did u get this info?  Is this official?  I can't get it from Digi site.

10 pm tp 7 am is considered peak time. For me..

i'm on idigi 88 plan n i cant check my internet usage so far for this month. even i check in unbilled transaction and ask them using D'Chat also no help. anyone here know how to check what is the bandwidth usage that i have used so far?

Impossible to SMS that much, Ive never even SMSed more than my value package limit.
I think they charged me both the RM24 100MB and RM per MB

Maxis dangerous using the data if exceed 1GB confirm puke looking at price of surfing the net while DiGi if exceed limit speed is throttled down to 128kbps and not overpaying then what you should! Safe! (Y)

Just something to share with u all.. My friend she is using maxis and her data exceeded abt 100mb and her maxis bill was RM1k so maxis charge her to maximum RM250. After that we make noise at MC KLCC till a supervisor come out and finally they waive RM60 for her.. Better than nothing la... Condition is this is ur first time first mth of ur data package and u must be a prompt payment...

Hahaha...Nola maxis wont have chance anymore cos after the RM60 waive we go Digi and port liao....      

Something terrible happens to me.

I use Maxis 3G to download one apps sized 400 MB.

Before I download my usage was 250 MB.

After finished the download my usage become 650 MB ++

This morning, suddenly my usage become 1 GB ++

Oh god I scared will get shocked from Maxis when bill comes out..

i currently use ivalue 1 + fam value 30 from 4 nov 2010..just check *100# and my bill Current bill(due date)24/12/2010= rm 346.03..wtf?check my cellular data i use only (sent=3.9mb and receive=21.0mb) any one of u ot same problem like me?where my free 1gb data,free 333min free call,free call and sms to my supp line and etc????can we check the usage at mc?

Hi i just got my iphone yesterday under maxis ivalue 1.
Any expert can guide me?
i closed off my 3g, celullar and wifi.
But the usage for data is still increasing, although in a very little pace.
Can i know what are the applications to look at which cause this movement?
i have turn off all notifications as well.
I saw from previous thread that somebody commented they might be some background programme which
is running. But i cant figure out what to close off again.

Yeah had the problem. My iPhone show around 2gb of data usage inclusive tethering. But celcom said I use more than 5gb. Not sure which is right.

I will .. don't worry ! No matter how gonna bring them down .. they desperate for money .. I gonna terminate the plan and throw RM800 for them as penalty ...

im using maxis almost 9 years... what i can say their service call/internet coverage are better then digi... but with their blood sucker strategy, I wont take a risk...
