got my 1st maxis bill!

I bought an iphone 3gs last year bundle together with iData 2 contract which is RM50 per month commitment with 500mb volume quota. I never reach the quota limit because I have wifi at home and only used FB, whatapps and normal iphone apps outside. My average usage is about 100mb - 150mb per month.

After end of my contract last month, I called Maxis and changed my plan to iData1, RM25 with 250mb volume quota. Unfortunately last month, my usage exceed quota and maxis charged me RM256 for extra 62mb. My bill last month was RM470. I know and understand that a lot of Maxis customer face the same problem with me but I still insist to call 123 and asked them about this issue. One of the agent told me that the charged is correct and even sent me itemised bill for my data usage only.

I asked them to give me some discount since the charge totally unreasonable as other telco just throttle the speed when exceed limit. I told them I want to change to other telco if they dont give me discount. I gave up because they seem ignore me and told me a lot of maxis customer used to face the same problem like me. Then I report to MCMC about this issue but still no reply. I end up paid RM500.00 at maxis centre penang to avoid my line from getting bar (my credit limit is RM600) and bought a new iphone 4 together with iValue 1 (1GB volume quota)

After a few days, Maxis respond to my complain from MCMC. They told me this is my mistake because I exceed volume quota but for this time only, they credit back RM256 into my account and if next time I exceed limit again, I need to pay per use and the max charge is RM250. I dont argue much as long as I get back my money and said thanks after that. After that conversation, I checked my current amount and the figure as per attached

Maxis actually charge RM5.12 per Mb if exceed data limit quota.

same case with me,hahaa but i only bising at the celcom counter only, but im end up paid 50%

U sure you're using iValue with RM99 unlimited data plan?

Last week I call Maxis CS,
they say I can't subscribe to this plan becoz I'm currently using iValue 100,only 500MB free data can be use a month,after 500MB,count as perkilobye !





Ps:I'm using iValue100(not value at all) with 24 month contract)iPhone 3G

Anyone in KL manage to consistently get above 1.5-2.0Mbps on Maxis 3G in KL, Subang, Sunway or Damansara using your iPhone 3G and above?

Dear all extra ten user from maxis pls check your guys itemise probably.
I found out that after i change my plan to ivalue plan 2 some call & sms they given extra ten charge but some they did not.

And pls take note maxis not giving any refund from your advance payment if your guys having outstanding payment due.

Even off peak or somewhere no 3G coverage area like town area in Pahang. The speed is quite fast for EDGE compare to other telco. And the best is no data charges if exceed the quota!

i'm on idigi 88 plan n i cant check my internet usage so far for this month. even i check in unbilled transaction and ask them using D'Chat also no help. anyone here know how to check what is the bandwidth usage that i have used so far?

why check its unlimited aint it?

Try using speedtest to check yr speed during office hr, if yr speed more than 0.5 mbps yr hv not reach the data limit , else u already reach. Anyway u should received SMS informing u when u hit the limit .

I purchased 100MB data for RM24, started online right after that on 25/10/10
But wtf I got charged RM130.48 data although I havent even finish using the 100MB.

yeap it is unlimited but i afraid i already hit the monthly quota and digi will reduced the speed to 128Kbps....

Could it be that the RM130.48 is your SMS data?

I have just called and complain regarding my bill, the operator said I subscribed a 1 day pass but instead I subscribed a 2 hours pass, how the hell can I exceed 100MB within the 2 friggin hours? No hardcore surfings just few chats from WhatsApp.
