Even you have exceeded the data quota allocated, you will still get back full speed during off peak hour ( 8pm to 8 am ) rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

My phone is a bit strange these days.
If I turn on the DATA (off 3G), another phone always cant phone through.
anyone experiencing this?
Or perhaps some apps (e.g cydia apps) are using internet in the background and blocked the calls..

If u r under GPRS or EDGE connection and at the same time u use any of these data services, the person who call u will get voicemail notification. meaning u cannot receive call when u r downloading via GPRS or EDGE.

But if u r downloading data thru 3G, the call will go thru as well.

Conclusion: Turn on both 3G & cellular data options if u don't wanna miss any call (only works under 3G coverage)

Yeah they charge RM5.12/MB, after 1024MB (1GB) for iValue1

Just now i asked Maxis Center if can change/upgrade to iValue2, they said cannot, not until we served our 12/24months contract
Ridiculous!  vmad.gif

hmm its funny y maxis wont let u upgrade ur contract from value1 to value2

i believe digi gives u the option to upgrade to a higher/more expensive plan ... but definitely not downgrade

Becoz they make more money in iValue1 by cheating at the data rates. Ppl will easily go beyond the limit/quota if they do not monitor properly, especially gAmers and Youtubers.

It could be network problem if the issue is location specific. I experience similar issue and reported to maxis, they acknowledged it. After a month, no improvement. For my case, turning off 3g will cure line breaking, missed call or soft volume etc etc.

actually when i was on Edge or lower, the problem will appear. it is fine if i am on 3g. now have to on 3g and battery going down like crazy. and sometimes when i on 3g, but at place with no 3g, also cannot get through. i tried to call my phone from my office on edge cannot get through. if on 3g can get through. then if on 3g but without the 3g logo (means on E) cannot get through also.

but what make me wondering so much is why missed call notification messages from maxis lack 1 digit number?

I just wanna ask how you all settle this issue with Maxis...argue with them at MC then ask them to waive it or make noise there but end up still have to pay..? My friend is subscribing Maxis but she is worst her data was RM1k (damm crazy) and Maxis never sent her any notification when her quota reach 90%...but she is just signing 100mb...
